After securing evidence against Cooper, Dr. Sharon Goodwin and Dr. Halstead (Nick Gehlfuss) shared their findings with Peter Kalmick (Marc Grapey), the Head of Legal Department at Gaffney Chicago Medical Center. Although Peter was shocked by their discovery, he urged them not to contact the FBI.

Since Cooper’s father-in-law is a board member, he said it would be in the hospital’s best interest to handle the issue privately. Goodwin agrees but secretly contacts the FBI and gives them information about the Vascom scandal.
