Christina Haack’s husband, Joshua Hall, just got a heartfelt shoutout on the HGTV star’s Instagram. The Christina on the Coast star, who secretly married Hall, took to Instagram to highlight Hall amidst some of life’s “lowest moments” as she’s “being sucker punched left and right.”

Christina Haack says Joshua Hall is ‘standing by’ her through ‘tough times’

Haack praised Hall in an Instagram post on May 8, 2022. “May has never been a great month for me. Not sure what that means astrologically or spiritually but I’ve had some of my worst times in May,” she wrote.

Haack continued, saying this year’s different because she has Hall by her side. “The difference is this May I have a man who treats me with unconditional love and respect,” she said. “Standing by me and helping me through these times as I feel like I’m being sucker punched left and right.”

“It’s when you have your lowest moments,” Haack continued, “that test your relationship when you really see what kind of people you are together.”

“If you have a person who loves and respects you hug them extra tight tonight because trust me not everyone has this,” she concluded the post.

May 2022 is already proving to be a difficult month for Christina Haack

At the time of writing, Haack’s a little more than a week into May 2022 and it’s already challenging. The HGTV star spent Mother’s Day in the hospital with her 6-year-old son Brayden, whom she shares with her ex-husband Tarek El Moussa

Haack revealed in a May 9 Instagram post she and her family had a “scary 12 hours” in the hospital with Brayden.  He had emergency surgery to remove his appendix and Meckel’s diverticulum and is now recuperating. “Nothing like seeing your child in excruciating pain,” she wrote. “Luckily the surgery went well and he is recovering and in good spirits.”

In the midst of Brayden’s emergency surgery, Haack’s also been dealing with a development concerning another one of her children. Her ex-husband Ant Anstead filed for full custody of their 2-year-old son Hudson in late April 2022. Although Anstead’s emergency order was denied soon after the custody battle isn’t over. A hearing is scheduled for June 2022.

Joshua Hall previously defended the HGTV star on Instagram

Haack’s Instagram post about Hall might look familiar to fans. That’s because the HGTV star’s husband used the same photo in a lengthy April 2022 response to Anstead’s custody filing. The realtor and co-founder of Unbroken Productions said he’d “support” Haack’s three children “in any way.”

Hall continued, saying he and Haack will “save the kids from any unnecessary trauma.” Additionally, he described the Christina on the Coast star as “a very driven and incredible woman who has an ability to brush anything off and keep herself composed while being a positive influence in these kids lives while achieving success in anything she does.”

He concluded the post, saying he’ll “always protect” Haack and “keep her safe,” noting she deserves not to be bothered by anyone.
