None of the Duggars hold four-year college degrees

Michelle and Jim Bob Duggar chose to homeschool all of their 19 children because they wanted to incorporate religion into their everyday learning process. Michelle did the entirety of the teaching, though once her older daughters were teens, they helped teach the younger kids.

When the Duggars graduated from the homeschool program, their parents did allow them to take some college courses. Joe Duggar even spent time away at a college studying. However, Jim Bob and Michelle have not encouraged their children to pursue a bachelor’s degree, and none of the kids have enrolled in college full time.

Duggar and Seewald love posting photos and videos of their kids to social media. In July, Duggar posted a video to Instagram of Ivy singing “happy birthday” to herself. The words were recognizable, and fans couldn’t believe how smart she was for being just over a year old.

Duggar has also posted videos of Ivy playing, and she seems to understand how to use each of her toys. Recently, Duggar recording Ivy looking at photo books with her brothers and repeating words, and people began encouraging Duggar to send her daughter to college.

“Ivy loves to talk!” Duggar captioned the video. “This girl is 14 months old, and she surprises us with new words and phrases almost every day.” Fans loved watching Ivy spend time with her brothers, and they’re now trying to encourage Duggar to allow Ivy to pursue a four-year degree — or beyond.

“I hope she goes to a university! She sure is smart enough!” someone wrote in the comments. “… She’s going to be very intelligent! She’s going to be a great doctor or professor!” another person added. “Ivy is the cutest and smartest baby I think I’ve ever seen,” one user commented. Another user, who claims to work in child development, said Ivy is “advanced for her age.”

Will any of the Duggar grandchildren attend a university?

Duggar and Seewald have never mentioned whether they’ll allow their children to attend college if they choose. However, some of the other Duggars have been making strides in that direction. Jinger Duggar and Jeremy Vuolo are already teaching their daughter to swim, which is something Jinger never learned to do. Plus, Jeremy attended college, so it’s possible they’ll allow Felicity to attend.

Jill Duggar and Derick Dillard shocked fans when they announced in the spring that they had enrolled their older son in public school. Fans took this to mean that their kids have a higher chance of attending college than some of the other Duggar grandchildren.
