The 56th Academy of Country Music Awards will be hosted by Keith Urban and country superstar Mickey Guyton. It will be held in Nashville for the second consecutive year in a row and just like in 2020, there will be performances at three separate music venues in Music City: the Ryman Auditorium, Bluebird Cafe, and Grand Ole Opry House.

“We’re excited to be back in Nashville. This is a great city that’s had a really rough year, even more of a rough year than other cities have had. Our country music industry has basically been out of work and suffering,” Damon Whiteside, CEO of the ACM and an executive producer of the awards show, said per Rolling Stone.

You’ll have to tune in to see who takes home the hardware this year. But if you’re wondering who currently has the most ACM Awards in history we have the answer.

Who’s won the most ACMs?

Leading all country music artists with the most ACM Awards is Miranda Lambert.

In 2018, she won Song of the Year for “Tin Man” and received her 30th ACM which was enough to make her the most-awarded artist in the ceremony’s history and Lambert has continued to add more to her name every year. Entertainment Tonight noted that after her win in 2020 for “Fooled Around and Fell in Love,” Keith Urban stated: “Miranda has won more ACMs than any human who has ever walked the planet or Venus. That is special.”

The “Kerosene” crooner also has bragging rights as she has won more Female Vocalist of the Year ACM awards than any other artist. And in 2016, she took home a very special ACM when became the first-ever recipient of the Merle Haggard Spirit Award.

Lambert will likely add more hardware to her collection this year as she has continued releasing hits from her The Marfa Tapes album and selling out socially distant shows from her home state of Texas.
