‘Criminal Minds’: Fans Reveal Which Unpopular Opinion They Actually ‘Agree’ With: ‘Glad I’m Not the Only Elle Lover Here’
The hit series Criminal Minds is still talked about to this day by fans on social media. The show that focuses on members of the Behavioral Analysis Unit catching the unsubs all over the country is highly entertaining and a fan-favorite show. Fans recently revealed which unpopular opinion they actually “agree” with.

On September 4, 2021, a fan on Reddit made a poll titled, “Which of these unpopular opinions do you agree with?” They continue, “They aren’t necessarily my opinions I have. Just opinions I rarely see.”
The options are, “The later seasons are better than the earlier seasons,” “Elle was a great character,” “Reid is not that great,” and “Jeid wasn’t that bad.” 1,678 people took part in the poll, and the results are quite eye-opening. “Elle was a great character” won with 758 votes. “Jeid wasn’t that bad” came in second with 385 votes. From there, the third place, which is close to second, goes to “The later seasons are better than the earlier seasons” with 337 votes. The final option was “Reid is not that great” with 198 votes.
Some fans praise the earlier seasons of the series. SSA Elle Greenaway (Lola Glaudini) was in the first two seasons, and she murdered an unsub as well. She gets hate from some fans. Dr. Spencer Reid (Matthew Gray Gubler) is a fan favorite whom many fans love and appreciate as a character. Jeid refers to Reid and JJ, or Jennifer Jareau (A.J. Cook). She revealed that she’d always loved Dr. Spencer Reid (Matthew Gray Gubler) in the season finale of season 14. Many fans weren’t on board for it, and things didn’t lead to a romantic happy ending for them.
Fans commented with their thoughts
Fans of the series even commented on the poll as well. Elle was mentioned the most in the comments, and some fans seem to like her character despite the hate she gets from others.
“Glad I’m not the only Elle lover here. 😭 I thought I was the only one for so long,” a fan said. However, not everyone agrees though.
Some fans didn’t like the idea of Jeid, Reid and JJ, together romantically. “I disliked Jeid so much I didn’t watch S15 E1 until after the season ended,” a fan weighed in.
One fan is going with two of the options. “Both two and four,” they said. “I loved Elle, and I think Jeid could have been a fine pairing, but what they eventually went with regarding it was bad.”
However, some people seem to be on board with Jeid as a couple. “I voted on Jeid because if they were done properly and earlier on, they would’ve been a cute couple,” a fan said.
Some fans really like the character Reid. Another fan thinks it could be argued that most of the options are actually “about Reid.” “I love how you could argue three out of the four are about Reid,” they said. “Everyone really does love him.”
Some fans don’t’ seem to agree with any of the choices though. “I don’t agree with any of these…” a fan said.
Fans have different opinions when it comes to the unpopular opinion fans “agree” with. “Elle was a great character” was the winning option in the poll for Criminal Minds.
