Cynthia Bailey Reveals What She Thinks of New ‘RHOA’ Cast Members LaToya Ali and Drew Sidora
With the upcoming season of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, the show will see two new cast members that are a part of the series now. In a recent interview, longtime cast member Cynthia Bailey gave her thoughts on the two new ladies, LaToya Ali and Drew Sidora.
There were a lot of rumors about Bailey’s status with the show
Prior to the reunion episode of the most recent episode of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, rumors began to spread about a cast shake-up. A lot of rumors said that Bailey, who is living bi-coastal now, could have switched shows switching shows in the franchise and move to The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, or appear on both at the same time in some capacity. Bailey has been partly living in Los Angeles where her fiancé, Mike Hill, resides. Her daughter, Noelle Robinson, also lives in Los Angeles now.
In an interview Hip Hollywood, “Beverly Hills, I’m not opposed to…the reality is, I live in Atlanta and I live in LA. As a reality star if we’re going to show my truth, then I’m friends with a lot of the ladies in Beverly Hills as well. I would be open to showing both parts of my life, my LA life, and my Atlanta life so we’ll see if Bravo and Truly Original can figure that out.”
As of right now, it looks like Bailey isn’t set to appear on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills just yet, and is still set to appear as a main cast member on The Real Housewives of Atlanta.
Here’s what she had to say about the newcomers
In a new interview with Us Weekly, Bailey talked about her feelings surrounding the new cast members and how things are going so far. The show has been filming in
“So far, I’m liking the fresh meat,” said Bailey. “But it’s still early in the game. So we’ll see, we’ll see. It’s always interesting what happens by the time we get to the end. So I think it’s good that we brought some other ladies in. I’ll always love the ladies that are here.”
Bailey said that didn’t know Ali prior to filming but had met Sidora several years ago. She believes that both of them “bring different things” to the table. On Ali, she said, “I don’t really know what the age difference is, but LaToya seems to be a little younger. So she’s a little firecracker. She’s one of those people that says any and everything, but she’s a lot of fun. She can probably be in trouble at the reunion because she says everything. She [is] gonna have some explaining. But I love her spirit. I love her energy.”
According to Bailey, she also had a connection to Sidora via Leon Robinson, the father of her daughter, Noelle. “She’s in a marriage, she has kids. She’s been in the industry a long time as an actress. She’s actually done a lot of work with my baby’s daddy, Leon [Robinson]. Like, she’s played his love interest quite a few times.”
The Real Housewives of Atlanta is expected to return later this year on Bravo.
