Dancing With the Stars has announced the cast of the 30th season of the competition, and already, one couple is standing out as one to watch. Former Beverly Hills 90210 star Brian Austin Green and pro-Sharna Burgess have reportedly been paired up. Off-camera the duo have been dating since Dec. 2020.

While many romances have stemmed from the steamy dances, many pros and celebrities act out on the ballroom floor, just how many real-life couples have come out of the show’s 30 seasons? Let’s break it down.

Sharna Burgess and Brian Austin Green are reportedly “Dancing With the Stars” partners

Burgess and Green began a relationship nine months ago. Fans speculated the blonde bombshell had someone special in her life after she revealed she started seeing a new man. An eye-witness caught the couple at an airport together on Christmas heading, which outed their relationship in the press. Both Burgess and Green later confirmed their romance on Instagram a couple of weeks later.

Since then, the couple has openly embraced their social status and longtime Dancing With the Stars fans are pulling for Burgess’ happiness. The pro, who has been featured on the series since season 16, danced in every season thereafter until the show’s 28th, when she was not asked to return after winning a mirrorball alongside Bobby Bones during season 27.

Burgess once said she would “never date her ‘DWTS’ partners”

Burgess once claimed that she would never date her partners on Dancing With the Stars in an interview with Parade Magazine. Green was initially supposed to star on season 29 of the series, but he pulled out at the last minute. Burgess later performed alongside former Desperate Housewives star Jesse Metcalfe.

“It’s definitely better than Brian wasn’t my dance partner on Dancing With the Stars because I don’t ever get romantically involved with my partners,” Burgess explained.

“For me, that is business; it’s work. It’s my passion. I want it to be perfect. And I think those that sometimes get personally connected in ways others than dance and friendships, it can overcomplicate matters. And so, I like to do a good job, and the dancing comes first.”

Being in close contact and wrapped in the arms of your partner each day can bring out some feelings of affection between pros and their celebrity partners. Several other Dancing With the Stars couples have come from the show, but Burgess and Green are the first who are a couple before performing together. Other romantic pairings evolved after the individuals met on the show.

Artem Chigvinstev and Nikki Bella were paired up together for season 25 of DWTS in 2017. The couple began dating in January 2019. Just one year later, not only were Chigvinstev and Bella engaged, they were pregnant. The couple welcomed their son Mateo in July 2020.

Pros Peta Murgatroyd and Maksim Chmerkovskiy also found love on the dance floor, as did his brother Val Chmerkovskiy and Jenna Johnson. Each married their spouses within two years of the other and have settled into married life. Maks and Peta have one son, Shai. Pros Emma Slater and Sasha Farber also found love on the set of the show. Farber proposed to Slater during a live episode during season 23 in a clip seen above.

Shark Tank star Robert Herjavec and his pro partner Kym Johnson were not dating when they were paired together for season 20. However, the love bug bit this couple hard and by the end of their season, it was clear they were romantically involved. Herjavec and Johnson wed in 2016 and welcomed twins Hudson and Haven, age 2.

Dancing With the Stars, hosted by Tyra Banks, begins its 30th season of competition on Sept. 20 at 8 p.m. EST.
