JoJo Siwa and Mike’ The Miz’ Mizanin in the bottom two

After tabulating the judges’ scores with viewer votes, pop star Siwa and pro wrestler Mizanin were revealed to be in the bottom two. Ultimately, all four judges unanimously agreed to save Siwa, eliminating “The Miz” from the running for the Mirrorball Trophy this season.

‘Dancing with the Stars’ fans react to JoJo Siwa and ‘The Miz’ being in the bottom two

Dancing with the Stars fans shared their thoughts on Siwa’s place in the bottom two in Facebook groups and Twitter threads. “I think for some people it’s the fact that her dance partner isn’t male,” one fan wrote in a Facebook comment. Siwa is the first contestant in the American series to dance with a same-sex partner

“Because she is a professional dancer dancing with another professional dancer!” another fan wrote on Facebook, explaining why they thought Siwa deserved to be in the bottom two. For some, Siwa’s years on Dance Moms and experience as a live performer seem like an advantage in the ballroom dance competition.

“I wish they would show the vote totals every week,” tweeted another fan. “Very disappointed to see ‘The Miz’ go home. I loved watching him improve week by week. Also LOVED his energetic personality.”

Each week, fans seem to be shocked by which DWTS celebrities are in the bottom two. Tune in next week to see who stays and who goes. Watch Dancing with the Stars Monday nights at 8 PM EST on ABC.
