Dancing with the Stars pros teased a “very special announcement” in a post shared on the show’s Instagram account. Britt Stewart, Brandon Armstrong, and Pasha Pashkov faced the cameras to share that viewers should watch for this particular news during the show’s newest episode, dedicated to the music and choreography of Janet Jackson.

Eight couples will face off during Janet Jackson Night

Eight remaining couples will return to the ballroom for a star-studded Janet Jackson Night. There will also be double elimination as the couples battle it out to make it into next week’s semifinals.

The show will feature an opening number and a walkout by host Tyra Banks to “Nasty” by Janet Jackson. There will also be an exceptional DWTS tour performance to “What Have You Done for Me Lately.”

For their first-round dances, celebrity and pro duos will perform dances including the Cha Cha, Samba, Salsa, Rumba, and more.

Songs that the couples will dance to include “Escapade,” “Feedback,” “Rhythm Nation,” “Any Time, Any Place,” “All For You,” “If,” “Miss You Much,” and “Black Cat.”

A spectacular dance-off will follow the performances

Following the individual performances by the celebrities and their pros, there will be four different dance-off pairings. These will also feature the music of Jackson.

Two couples will dance to the same song. At the close of their performance, the couples will be scored by one judge.

The first pairing is a Salsa, which Bruno Tonioli will judge. Jimmie Allen and Emma Slater will compete against Suni Lee and Sasha Farber to the tune “Made for Now.”

Carrie Ann Inaba will judge JoJo Siwa and Jenna Johnson’s Rumba against Olivia Jade and Val Chmerkovskiy to the tune “That’s The Way Love Goes.”

Derek Hough will score Iman Shumpert, Daniella Karagach, Melora Hardin, and Artem Chigvinstev, who will dance the Foxtrot to “Again.”

Finally, Len Goodman will judge a Cha Cha performed by Amanda Kloots and Alan Bersten and Cody Rigsby and Cheryl Burke to the song “Together Again.”

Three pros tease a ‘very special announcement

Brandon Armstrong, Britt Stewart, and Pasha Pashkov faced the cameras and told viewers there would be a “very special announcement” coming during this episode’s broadcast.

Stewart began by saying, “Hey everyone, we are so thrilled to be going on the DWTS live tour this winter, 2022.”

Pashkov told viewers to tune in so they could get a taste of what’s to come when the pros hit the road.

Armstrong concluded their statement by teasing a “very special announcement” that fans won’t want to miss.

Fans react to the surprising tour news

“My guess is last year’s champ, I can’t wait!” wrote one fan who speculated season 29 mirrorball champ Kaitlyn Bristowe would head out on tour with the pros.

“I’m too excited. I can’t wait much longer; omg, let’s go, DWTS team!” penned a second follower.

“I’m so excited about the tour and tomorrow night’s show!” claimed a third Instagram follower of the series.

“Getting my tickets now,” wrote a fourth fan.

According to its official Instagram page, the pros expected to join the tour are Stewart, Armstrong, Paskov, his wife Daniella Karagach, Emma Slater, Sasha Farber, Alan Bersten, Artem Chigvinstev, and Glen Savchenko.

Dancing with the Stars airs Mondays at 8 p.m. EST on ABC.
