The rapper joined the show in Season 2 and was partnered with Ashly DelGrosso-Costa. This was actually unplanned because his son, Lil’ Romeo was supposed to join the cast but was injured and could no longer do it. So Mater P definitely gets points for unexpectedly taking the gig.

He made it four weeks but is still remembered as one of the worst stars to dance on the show, often receiving only four points from each judge. His last performance was the pasodoble and he got a score of two from both Len Goodman and Bruno Tonioli.

“I know people were going to make fun of me and laugh,” the father said, according to NY Daily News, “but I say it’s worth it because I wanted to make sure that we brought that light and hopefully bring some of the people back together. And it worked.”
