Ava Vitali and Jake DiMera headed for romance on ‘Days of Our Lives’

Soap fans are always curious about which Salem characters will hook up next on the NBC soap opera. While it appears Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) and Jake DiMera (Brandon Barash) will become romantically involved on Days of Our Lives. Both Ava and Jake are now single after being dumped by their significant other.

Ava’s heart was broken after Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) cheated on her with her friend Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker). Meanwhile, Jake has split with Gabi Hernandez (Camila Banus) because of a misunderstanding with JoDevil (Carson Boatman).

Jake and Ava cross paths after he comes to her rescue following her slap from Nicole. He takes her to the Brady Pub to nurse her wound and listens as she talks about her troubles. After learning she’s staying in a motel, Jake offers to let her move in with him.

Their new living arrangement takes an interesting turn

Ava doesn’t hesitate to take Jake up on his offer, and the duo immediately gets settled in at Jake’s apartment. Fans are already loving the pair’s friendship; however, they know the new living arrangement leads to a romance. While it usually takes a slow build toward romance, for Ava and Jake, it may not take long for sparks to ignite.

According to Soaps.com, Gabi is in for a surprise when she walks in on Ava and Jake in bed together. How and why they end up in bed remains unanswered; however, the sight is enough to alarm Gabi, who’ll spread the news over Salem.

How Ava Vitali and Jake DiMera’s relationship will affect others?

Ava and Jake’s romance will happen sooner or later, and when it does, other Days of Our Lives characters won’t be happy. Gabi is the number one person who’ll be upset over the romance. She loves Jake and hopes they can work out their problems, yet things keep getting worse for the couple. 

Seeing Jake with Ava will undoubtedly create more strain on their relationship. Gabi will realize Jake isn’t the man she thought he was, and although deep down she loves him, she’ll let him go.
