‘Days of Our Lives: Beyond Salem’ will feature some familiar cast members
Days of Our Lives: Beyond Salem is, so far, a five-episode spinoff show. According to Daily Soap Dish, it will premiere on Peacock on September 6. And the episodes will feature some familiar cast members.
As we previously told you, Lisa Rinna will be returning to the show as Billie Reed.
Other cast members confirmed to appear include Deidre Hall, Drake Hogestyn, Robert Scott Wilson, Victoria Konefal, Jackée Harry, Billy Flynn, and James Reynolds.
Ben and Ciara’s relationship continues to grow
The premise of Days of Our Lives: Beyond Salem is that more than a few characters need to get out of Salem for a while. We can relate. Who doesn’t need a refreshing vacation now and again?
Anyway, two such characters that need to get away are Ben and Ciara. Certainly, they’ve had their fair share of drama. And there’s a chance that the secrets and lies will destroy their relationship, which isn’t good news for #TeamCin and the shippers of this pairing.
Regardless, according to Soaps @ SheKnows, Ben and Ciara will take a romantic getaway to New Orleans. It will be interesting to see if some time away can serve as a salvo for their battered relationship.
John and Marlena’s relationship takes an interesting turn
Another Days of Our Lives: Beyond Salem storyline will focus on John and Marlena.
The longtime couple, and fan favorites, are heading off to Zurich to reclaim “stolen jewels which, in the wrong hands, could cause dire consequences for Salem,” as Fame10 reports.
Given that these “jewels” are an over-arching storyline for the spinoff, it remains to be seen if it causes all these couples to implode. Either way, we can’t wait to tune in.
