AJ McLean will be on ‘Days of Our Lives’

After months of teasing and anticipation, McLean will be on Days of Our Lives during the week of Nov. 8. According to SoapHub, fans will see him portraying a driver. He’ll reportedly be driving Ciara somewhere, though where he’ll be driving her and under what circumstances isn’t clear yet.

McLean’s appearance on Days is reportedly a one-and-done situation. He apparently won’t be a part of any major storyline. However, he seemed to have a good time making his appearance on the popular NBC soap.

McLean teased his appearance back in July 2021

Back in July 2021, AJ McLean was taping for his Days of Our Lives appearance. He teased the appearance in a TikTok video. And he said Days was his grandmother’s favorite show and that his appearance was a tribute to her.

“There is a certain daytime TV show that my grandmother and I used to watch when I was growing up,” he said. “And I’ll drop a couple of hints: Bo, Hope, Patch … ring a bell? Well, yours truly is making a guest appearance as a driver.”

McLean also said fans would be delighted about the drama they’d be seeing during his time on the show.

Other ‘Days’ comings and goings

While many Days of Our Lives fans have loved seeing some of Salem’s unearthed dead, it looks like some of them, too, are a one-and-done deal.

Mike Manning, who played Charlie Dale, has returned to the grave — and won’t be back on the show for the foreseeable future. But you never know when he might pop back up, given that Marlena’s still possessed and the Devil might still want his due.

The same is true for Vincent Irizarry and Blake Berris. Irizarry, who played Deimos Kiriakis, and Berris, who played Nick, have also returned to their graves. It seems as though they were only on the canvas for the Days of Our Lives Halloween special. But no one stays dead in Salem forever, so there’s a good chance they’ll be back.
