‘Days of Our Lives’: Double Trouble at the Double Wedding

Days of Our Lives preps for your wedding season. This week a big ceremony takes place with two couples tying the knot. Yet, as soap fans know, a ceremony isn’t complete without drama. And the wedding day chaos may lead to heartache for both couples.

Gwen Rizczech doesn’t become Mrs. Xander Kiriakis on ‘Days of Our Lives’

Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) has become Salem’s newest troublemaker on Days of Our Lives. Like all villains, Gwen wants to be loved, and she found that with Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer). Although Xander’s heart still belongs to Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey), he knows that with her condition, she’ll never be the woman he fell in love with. 

Xander and Sarah’s relationship was disrupted when Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) kidnapped Sarah and held her captive on an island. When Sarah is rescued, she has amnesia and believes she’s Renee DuMonde. Sarah’s memory shows no signs of coming back despite attempts at a cure. 

Xander decides to move on by marrying Gwen; however, his fiancée is keeping a huge secret. Gwen knew that Kristen had Sarah held captive but hid the truth. Gwen has no plans in confessing the truth to her soon-to-be husband, but someone else will. 

According to Soaps.com, Gwen’s sister Abby Deveraux (Marci Miller) will interrupt the ceremony by revealing her secret.

Leo Stark’s scheme leave Craig Wesley heartbroken

Leo Stark’s (Greg Rikaart) walk down the aisle won’t be a memorable one. The con man has sinked his hooks into Craig Wesley (Kevin Spirtas). Despite Leo’s claims he loves Craig, Chloe Lane’s (Nadia Bjorlin) believes he’s after her father’s money.

To put Chloe’s fears to rest, Craig asks a shocked Leo to sign a prenup. Leo agrees to sign the papers, and the couple prepare to say their vows. However, Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) arrives with his guest Jackie Cox, who’ll expose Leo’s latest scheme. 

Jackie’s revelation will undoubtedly have Leo working quickly to save his hide. But the damage may be done.

The fallout from wedding revelations

It looks like it’ll be wedding day blues for Gwen and Leo on Days of Our Lives. After Abby exposes her secret, Gwen is seething mad. Xander calls Gwen the worst person he’s ever known. 

Gwen then shouts go to hell at someone. Wonder if it’s toward Xander, Abby, or another wedding guest. With her wedding day a bust, Gwen’s temper is raging, and Abby and Xander better watch their backs. 

As for Leo, his jig is up and all out in the open. Leo being the scammer he is will try to come up with a new plan. He hopes with some sweet declarations of love, he can woo Craig back. Yet, Craig isn’t about to be fooled again by Leo. The Chief of Staff risked his reputation and family because of Leo’s lies.

While Craig is ready to walk away, Leo isn’t going to give up so easily. With Gwen’s help, the two could come up with payback for those that wronged them.
