‘Days of Our Lives’ Sneak Peek: The Power of Love Drives The Devil Away
This week’s Days of Our Lives will be a sad one for those who have come to love the “Mar-Devil” possession storyline. The spoilers tease that this will be the week the Devil finally bids adieu to Dr. Marlena Evans-Black. Will the power of love be enough to save her?

On ‘Days of Our Lives,’ Marlena’s family teams up to drive the Devil out
The first sign that the Devil was about to be defeated was when Mar-Devil over-played her hand with Ben and Ciara. On that week’s episodes of Days of Our Lives, the Devil’s secret was all but revealed. Prior to that, there were a few people who were suspicious of what was going on (Paulina immediately comes to mind), but nothing was ever definitive.
That all changed when Mar-Devil went after Ciara. And that happened on the December 13 episode of the show.
“MarDevil’s gonna do what MarDevil’s gonna do,” read the previous report. “And what she’s doing today is cause problems between Ben and Ciara. Given that Ciara’s already a bit suspicious, is MarDevil going to overplay her hand? Meanwhile, people back in Salem are getting suspicious, as evidenced when John and Shawn realize that the Westons are MIA!”
Will they be able to succeed?
That was the first of many dominos to be knocked over in this game. According to Soaps.com, this week’s Days of Our Lives will feature everyone in Salem who has ever loved Marlena banding together to drive the Devil out of her once and for all. The first blow will come from John on Monday, December 27. And on Tuesday, December 28, everyone in Salem will band together to drive the Devil out.
“It looks like Marlena’s family has had about as much of the devil’s antics as they’re going to take,” reports the outlet. “Look for John, Brady, Belle, Sami, Eric, Allie, and Johnny to come together for sort of the ultimate intervention as they try to use the power of their love to drive the demon out of Marlena.”
Now the question remains: is love enough to save Marlena? Or does the Devil have a hold on her for good?
Meanwhile, elsewhere in Salem
Marlena isn’t the only one who is going through her own set of drama on Days of Our Lives. According to the latest spoilers from Celeb Dirty Laundry, Sami has to decide between EJ and Lucas. And, the spoilers tease that she’ll be choosing none other than EJ!
Meanwhile, there’s an unexpected death in Salem at the hands of Ava Vitali. “Ava will make a disturbing move that rattles Rafe,” reports the outlet. “The police commissioner will end up cornering Ava and demanding answers, so this may be about Duke the teddy bear. Days spoilers say Ava will “kill” the little fella by taking some scissors and cutting his head off.”
Even the bear isn’t safe? Jeez. This is definitely the week full of drama that Days of Our Lives fans have come to know and love.
