‘Days of Our Lives’ Speculation: Nicole Ends Friendships to Save the Man She Loves

Days of Our Lives has been heating things up in Salem as of late. The Rafe-Ava-Nicole “love triangle” is a barn burner of a story. But, in the coming episodes, Nicole will make a decision about her relationship with her best friend. And as it turns out, it may reveal more than friendship.

On ‘Days of Our Lives,’ Nicole and Rafe have been getting close

Days of Our Lives has been focused on Nicole getting over her horrible divorce. Rafe has been a source of comfort for her, but there have been times that the relationship has gotten — shall we say — a little weird.

It’s one thing to comfort your friend — to be there for her when she needs you — and it’s another thing entirely to climb into bed with her and cuddle her as she cries.

And, as Days fans know, Rafe did the latter and not the former.

This, obviously, bothers Ava

For what are, perhaps, obvious reasons, Rafe’s actions have been bothering Ava. Ava already doesn’t need much of an excuse to behave — shall we say — a little weird. But seeing this may be too much to bear.

As previous Days of Our Lives speculation has revealed, at one point, Ava screams at Rafe, “will you just admit that you want to sleep with Nicole?” And while Rafe swears that he and Nicole are just friends, his actions say otherwise. At the very least, the two have some unexplored feelings that need to be addressed.

But Nicole makes a decision that changes the course of things for all of them.

Nicole ‘makes a decision’ — but her decision may reveal more than just friendship

According to Soaps @ SheKnows, Thursday’s episode of Days of Our Lives will be a groundbreaking one. The outlet reports that Nicole will “make a decision” regarding her future with Rafe and Ava. They believe that Nicole will end her friendship with them both to avoid causing any more drama.

SoapHub, meanwhile, takes it a step further and suggests that Nicole’s reasoning for ending her friendship has to do with the feelings between her and Rafe that continue to grow. This may be her last-ditch effort to stay as “just friends.”

But will it work? This is all just speculation, of course, but we can definitely expect some major shakeups in Salem in the coming weeks.
