On ‘Days of Our Lives’ this week, Marlena and John will face off against the Devil

Just when they thought they were out, the Devil puts John and Marlena back in. And on Days of Our Lives this week, the long-time pair realize the Devil has possessed Johnny. Look for the proverbial Devil to hit the fan on the March 18 episode of the show, per Soaps.com.

The outlet confirms that the pair will be presenting a “united front” in the hopes to defeat the Devil’s latest possession. Remembering that the power of love drew the Devil away from Marlena the last time he possessed her, they’re hoping that the same can be said about Johnny, too.

Of course, it was previously teased that even if they’re successful in getting Johnny “clean,” the Devil still isn’t done. Belle looks to be the Devil’s latest possession victim. How will Salem respond when that happens?

Eli gets shot by TR Coates

Meanwhile, SoapHub reports that on Days of Our Lives this week, Eli will get shot by TR Coates. As fans already know, Eli was doing a “deep dive” into Lani’s “bio-daddy” since the man wouldn’t leave well enough alone. There’s some suggestion that Eli confronts TR after TR’s ex-girlfriend reveals what an abusive monster he’s been.

Unfortunately for poor Eli, the confrontation between him and TR Coates goes terribly wrong, and Eli winds up shot. The outlet confirms that Eli will be touch and go for most of the week. And it will be interesting to see if he ultimately pulls through.

“While Belle’s family tries to save her from the dark side, Lani Price Grant (Sal Stowers) worries her husband will walk too close to bright light,” reports SoapHub. “A feud between TR Coates (William Christian) goes off the rails and ends with Eli fighting for his life. The prognosis must be bad because his mother shows up to be by his side.”

And EJ and Rafe end up in jail together?

Finally, Celeb Dirty Laundry teases that EJ and Rafe will end up in jail together on Days of Our Lives this week. The outlet claims that the pair will end up as new “cellies” after Clyde — Ben’s no-good daddy — somehow gets parole. And things will definitely get hairy between the two.
