Days of Our Lives is keeping the possession story alive and well with Johnny DiMera. And needless to say, he’s behaving like a wild man. After breaking Chanel’s heart — resulting in her hookup with Allie — the latest spoilers tease that he’s about to shack up with Gabi! Who saw this coming? Certainly not us. Anyway, on with this week’s spoilers!

On ‘Days of Our Lives,’ Johnny and Gabi get hot and heavy
If you’ve been shipping the nascent Johnny and Chanel relationship, this news is definitely not going to hit well with you. According to Celeb Dirty Laundry’s Days of Our Lives spoilers, Johnny will get very hot and heavy with Gabi during the week of Jan. 17. And because there are some DiMera shares hanging in the balance, Jake (ever the fall guy) will give Gabi some “room” to get hot and heavy with the “JoDevil.” The problem is, will it go too far and end his relationship with Chanel once and for all?
“How far will Gabi want to go?” asks the outlet rhetorically. “Days spoilers say Gabi has some steamy scenes ahead with Johnny, so there’s a chance true sparks will fly. Naturally, that could be a real problem considering the devil is in control of Johnny’s mind and body. Gabi could end up in danger if she falls for the devil himself – not to mention Jake won’t like it one bit!”
Abby gives Xander a lead to find Sarah
Speaking of the DiMeras, Marci Miller’s Abby is back on the canvas, and she’s helping Xander crack the curious case of Sarah. This week’s Days of Our Lives spoilers from SoapHub tease that Abby will give Xander the clue on the Jan. 13 episode of the show. And the answers he’s seeking just might not be what he expected.
“Abigail Deveraux DiMera (Marci Miller) has good news for Xander Cook (Paul Telfer): she’s discovered a lead regarding Sarah Horton’s (Linsey Godfrey) disappearance,” reports the outlet. “But what kind of lead? And is it a viable avenue to explore or a smokescreen conjured up by Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) in order to throw the sleuthsome twosome off the proper track?”
Now, we already know that Linsey Godfrey will be back on the Days of Our Lives canvas very soon, so it’s really just a question of when Xander finds Sarah, not if.
Meanwhile, elsewhere in Salem
Other Days of Our Lives spoilers for next week suggest that Chanel has other problems to worry about besides Johnny finding out about her little fling with Allie. As a different report from Celeb Dirty Laundry reveals, Chanel has to worry about her mother, Paulina, spilling the beans on her. The outlet teases that the threat is really real, if only so Paulina can get Johnny out of Chanel’s life once and for all. But can Paulina keep a secret?
