Dean Unglert and Caelynn Miller-Keyes shared the news on social media

On Twitter and Instagram, Miller-Keyes posted photos of a dog and let her followers know that she is fostering the dog with Unglert. The senior dog’s name is Pappy. Miller-Keyes posted a photo on Twitter on Jan. 17 comparing the adorable dog to Baby Yoda from The Mandalorian.

She tweeted, “Meet our baby yoda (pappy) that we’re fostering for a little bit!”

Unglert tweeted an uncropped version of the same photo Miller-Keyes shared on Jan. 17. In the photo Unglert shared, Miller-Keyes smiled at Pappy while the photogenic dog smiled at the camera.

“i’m about to spoil this dog with all the @Postmates i’m legally allowed to purchase,” Unglert tweeted.

Pappy is very loved by his foster parents

If it wasn’t already clear, Pappy is already very loved by the couple fostering him. Ever since Pappy temporarily joined them, Unglert and Miller-Keyes have posted photos and videos of the dog nonstop on Instagram.

“I can’t say no to him,” Miller-Keyes wrote on her Instagram story as Pappy stood on the couch looking at her.

“What are you doing? You think you can be on the couch?” She asked the dog. Pappy proceeded to answer her by sitting on the couch.

On his Instagram story, Unglert acknowledged his Instagram was “turning into a Pappy stan account” and posted photos of the dog enjoying “van life.”

The couple recently returned from Switzerland

Before Christmas, Unglert traveled to Switzerland for a skiing trip. Unfortunately, he dislocated his hip and also suffered a fractured femur. His injuries required surgery, and Miller-Keyes later flew out to Switzerland to be with him.

While Unglert was released from the hospital on Dec. 28, 2019, the couple did not immediately leave Switzerland.

“i’ve been asked this a few times. yesterday Swiss Air deemed me medically unfit to fly to Berlin so now we’re taking trains north until we hit London. i’ll probably stay in London for a week or two and rest/heal before the long haul back to LA,” Unglert said on his Instagram story.

Dean Unglert is grateful for Caelynn Miller-Keyes

On his blog, Unglert wrote a recap of his 2019. He mentioned his time on Bachelor in Paradise and meeting Miller-Keyes.

“… it all worked out for the best because I left the show with an awesome girlfriend who loves to travel as much as I do and even doesn’t mind spending time in the van,” Unglert said of his experience on the show.

Unglert later explained in the blog post that he purposefully does not share much about his relationship online.

“I receive a little bit of flack online for not sharing more about my relationship either here on deaniebabies.com or on Instagram, but that is intentional. in 2020 I plan on continuing on the same way. What we have been doing has been working and our relationship only grows stronger every single day. I think by keeping it more private, it allows us to cherish and hold it more dearly to ourselves,” he wrote.

While Unglert chooses to not share much about his relationship with Miller-Keyes, he still took the time to post about how thankful he is for her after his ski accident.

“back in the states after an unfortunate turn of events in europe. it would have been a whole lot worse without my primary caretaker there to change my smelly socks, carry my luggage, and keep me entertained. thank you for everything you’ve already done and for everything you still unwittingly have to do @caelynnmillerkeyes,” Unglert wrote on Instagram.
