Dean Unglert might be happy living away from the LA influencer Bachelor Nation bubble with Caelynn Miller-Keyes in Las Vegas, but once upon a time, he was a regular on The Bachelor shows. Unglert first appeared on Rachel Lindsay’s season of The Bachelorette in 2017, finishing in fourth place when she sent him home after she met his family. He became a hot commodity in the franchise after that, appearing on subsequent franchise shows. But how much money did he make on each? Unglert revealed all.

How much money Dean Unglert made on ‘Bachelor in Paradise’

Unglert’s first Bachelor in Paradise appearance was the fourth season in 2017, right after his stint on The Bachelorette. While there, he pursued relationships with both Kristina Schulman and Danielle Lombard. Even though he attempted a relationship with Schulman, the pair did not work out.

He shared on Tartick’s podcast that he was first offered $400 per day for that season of Bachelor in Paradise. Unglert also spilled that other contestants encouraged him to negotiate, so he got a higher rate of $600 per day. He knew of other people making as much as $1,000 per day during production but was not able to secure that rate.

Following his unsuccessful run on Bachelor in Paradise, Unglert was in talks to be the lead of The Bachelor. While the role eventually went to Arie Luyendyk Jr, ABC offered Unglert $75,000 to be the lead. Unglert shared that he would have taken the role if they ended up choosing him. Tartick weighed in that when he was in talks for The Bachelor lead role, ABC offered him $100,000 for the season.

Two years later, in 2019, Unglert returned to Bachelor in Paradise. His rate did not change from his previous BIP appearance: He made $600 per day.

After Unglert’s first Bachelor in Paradise season, he went on The Bachelor Winter Games, a winter Olympics-inspired bachelor show that combined competition with dating. Other Bachelor Nation favorites like Ben Higgins and Ashley Iaconetti came on the show. Unglert connected with Lesley Murphy, who was originally on Sean Lowe’s season of The Bachelor.

The pair dated while on the show, then continued their relationship until April 2018 when they broke up.

Unglert revealed that The Bachelor Winter Games was his second-lowest rate, coming in at $400 per day. He discussed on Tartick’s podcast that despite the lower rate, contestants had fun shooting the season.
