Demon Slayer delivered a shock ending in Entertainment District Arc Episode 9, which saw Gyutaro maiming the Sound Hashira Tengen Uzui and stabbing Inosuke through the chest.

Tanjiro and Zenitsu weren’t in much better shape when “Defeating an Upper Rank Demon” came to a close. And according to AnimeTV, there are only two installments left in this arc — meaning the series has plenty of ground to cover over the next couple of weeks.

Tengen seems too incapacitated to fight currently, with his recent battle leaving him unconscious and missing a hand. Inosuke’s not likely to be a major help in the coming episodes either.

That leaves Tanjiro, Zenitsu, and maybe Nezuko to dispatch of Upper Moon 6 demons Daki and Gyutaro. Despite Tanjiro’s insistence on never giving up, it’s hard to imagine how they’ll handle it.

Naturally, anime-only fans are waiting with bated breath to see how this confrontation plays out. So, what is the release date for episode 10 of Demon Slayer Season 2’s Entertainment District Arc?

When do new episodes of ‘Demon Slayer’ Season 2 come out?

New episodes of Demon Slayer‘s Entertainment District Arc are broadcast every Sunday in Japan. They come out on Crunchyroll, Funimation, and Hulu not long after. And Entertainment District Arc Episode 10 looks to follow every other installment in Demon Slayer Season 2 in that regard.

The anime’s official Twitter confirmed the next episode will arrive on Sunday, Feb. 6. It will air on the Fuji Television Network in Japan at 11:15 p.m. Following the same pattern as the rest of the Entertainment District Arc, it will drop on streaming platforms around 11 a.m. EST.

Barring any unexpected delays, fans should have answers soon — about the state of Tengen and Inosuke, as well as the outcome of the fight between the Demon Slayers and Upper Moon 6 demons. What else can viewers expect heading into next week’s installment?

With Demon Slayer Season 2 wrapping up its Entertainment District Arc, episode 10 is likely to move the current battle closer to a resolution. Unless the second outing intends to end on yet another cliffhanger, the next two chapters need to do some heavy lifting. Not only do they need to reveal the fates of Inosuke and Tengen, but they need to determine whether or not the Upper Moon 6 demons survive.

Despite the worrisome conclusion of last week’s installment, the next one offers a hopeful title: “Never Give Up.” With any luck, that means Tanjiro and his companions will turn their fight around. As it stands, they don’t have much to fall back on. Perhaps reinforcements will arrive, or maybe Tanjiro and Nezuko will learn to channel their new powers.

Whatever happens, fans are in for another heart-pounding addition to the series. Truthfully, it can’t get here soon enough.
