Demon Slayer‘s Entertainment District Arc has finally reached its peak, with Tengen Uzui coming face to face with Upper Moon 6 demons Daki and Gyutaro. Unfortunately, his encounter with the latter has put him at a disadvantage. He was cut by Gyutaro’s flying blood sickles, which poisoned him when they broke his skin.

And despite the Sound Hashira’s upbeat attitude, he’s clearly worried about his current state and how it will impact his ability to protect Tanjiro, Zenitsu, and Inosuke.

Gyutaro and Daki have proven themselves two very powerful opponents. Things aren’t looking good as Demon Slayer Season 2 approaches the release date of Entertainment District Arc Episode 9.

Of course, fans are still eager to get their hands on the next installment. That’s the only way to find out how Tengen and the others fare. So, when do new episodes of Demon Slayer‘s second season come out?

Although Demon Slayer doesn’t drop a preview at the end of its season 2 episodes, the anime does reveal episode titles ahead of their release dates. In the latest post-credits scene, the series revealed Entertainment District Arc Episode 9 will be called “Defeating an Upper Rank Demon.”

That name bodes well for Tengen and the others, all of whom are currently struggling against Upper Rank 6. It doesn’t guarantee they’ll all make it out of this arc unscathed. However, next week promises to bring the fight with Daki and Gyutaro to a close.

What happens after that is anyone’s guess. It’s unclear how much of Koyoharu Gotouge’s manga Demon Slayer Season 2 plans to adapt after Entertainment District Episode 9 drops. There’s plenty left, but the series may save most of it for future outings. Hopefully, fans will have a better idea of where things are heading after next week.
