Friends and family paid their respects to iconic socialite Lee Radziwill who passed away at age 85. Radziwill was known for famously being Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis’ sister and became a princess after marrying Polish Prince Stanislaw Albrecht Radziwill.

She was also the mother-in-law to Real Housewives of New York alum, Carole Radziwill. Carole was married to Lee’s son Anthony who died after battling cancer for several years. She never remarried and continued to consider Lee to be her family.

Carole had an explosive exit from the franchise last season. She bitterly feuded with former friend Bethenny Frankel and seems to have completely moved away from the show since she left. But did any of the women or other cast members show up to support Carole during this difficult time?

Jill Zarin saw many ‘RHONY’ at her husband’s funeral

Fans may have hoped for a reunion between Bethenny and Carole. Bethenny went to RHONY alum Jill Zarin’s husband’s funeral after the two had a horrible falling out years prior. Other RHONY who attended Bobby Zarin’s funeral included Luann de Lesseps, Kelly Bensimon, Ramona Singer, Dorina Medley, and Sonja Morgan.

Many of these women not only knew Bobby but were also close friends with the couple. Like Carole, Jill was an RHONY alum but ended up being supported by many of the women.

Carole hasn’t been spotted with many ‘RHONY’ women

Since leaving the show, Carole hasn’t been seen hanging out with many of cast members other than RHONY alum Heather Thomson. The women seemed friendly when they were both on the show.

Heather also made a brief appearance on the show last year when she ran the New York City Marathon with Carole. But other than Heather, Carole’s Instagram hasn’t featured other cast members or former flame Adam Kentworthy. Although Adam has featured Baby, the dog he and Carole share on his Instagram.

This is who attended the funeral

Although Lee’s funeral was extremely well-attended the only RHONY who seemed to be present was Carole. Mourners included designers Carolina Herrera, Marc Jacobs, and Tory Burch, Page Six reports. Also, editor André Leon Talley, director Sofia Coppola, and niece Caroline Kennedy were present.

The service was held at the Church of St. Thomas More on the Upper East Side. A friend of the family told Page Six, “It’s a funeral service, not a memorial. They won’t be doing anything else as she was so private and elegant.”

Although Lee was well into her eighties, her passing came as a shock to many. “It just came as a shock as she was so strong and resilient for so long,” a friend told Page Six. “We all just hoped she would be with us forever. She had some health setbacks recently, including hip issues, that slowed her down slightly, but she was still as sharp as a tack.”

Carole wrote a loving tribute to Lee

Carole penned a beautiful tribute to her mother-in-law, which was featured in Daily Mail. She described Lee as having, “a razor-sharp wit and intellect.” Lee was “both formidable and playful. She invented style, she invented giving no f**ks, she demanded authenticity and lived unapologetically.”

Sadly, Carole didn’t get to visit with Lee during her final days. “I last spoke to her two weeks before she died. I hadn’t seen her in months and I was happy to make a dinner plan. ‘When can you come?’ She asked. I suggested the following night, but she had a friend coming over.”

“She suggested another one, I was out of town. I had a business trip scheduled that would push it back further, but it was cancelled last-minute. I could see her on the weekend. She passed away Friday night.”
