It may be over now, but Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher had one of the most interesting relationships in history. Their union made no sense. With 15 years between them and Moore fresh off a divorce from Bruce Willis, their relationship shouldn’t have worked. But it did and surprisingly well. At least… it did for eight years.

Now that they have split and Kutcher is happy with Mila Kunis, Moore has released a new memoir, “Inside Out,” which details some intimate situations in not only her marriage to Kutcher but her two others as well.

Was Demi Moore ever cheated on?

When Kutcher and Moore first announced their separation, fans were shocked. The two didn’t make any sense together, but the public had gotten used to them and they seemed to be relatively happy with one another.

In her new book, Moore attributes the split partially to Kutcher’s infidelity.

The trouble in their relationship started when Moore agreed to have a threesome.

“I put him first,” she said in her book. “So when he expressed his fantasy of bringing a third person into our bed, I didn’t say no. I wanted to show him how great and fun I could be.”

And after the threesomes, things were never the same.

“They were good people, but it was still a mistake,” Moore said of the people they brought into their bedroom. “I was strangely flooded with shame, I couldn’t shake the feeling that this whole thing was somehow my fault.”

And Kutcher allegedly eventually blamed his infidelity on the threesome.

“Because we had brought in a third party into our relationship, Ashton said, that blurred the lines and, to some extent, justified what he’s done,” Moore wrote.

Has Demi Moore cheated on any of her husbands?

Kutcher’s infidelity may have been a big contributor to their split, but that doesn’t mean that Moore has been the picture of fidelity in all of her marriages. The actress definitely had some skeletons in her own closet. In fact, she cheated on her first husband, musician Freddy Moore, the night before they got married.

“The night before we got married, instead of working on my vows, I was calling a guy I’d met on a movie set,” Moore wrote. “I snuck out of my own bachelorette party and went to his apartment.”

Though she knows it was wrong, she is fully aware of why she cheated.

“Why did I do that?” she continued. “Why didn’t I go and see the man I was committing to spend the rest of my life with to express my doubts? Because I couldn’t face the fact that I was getting married to distract myself from grieving the death of my father. Because I felt there was no room to question what I’d already put in motion. I couldn’t get out of the marriage, but I could sabotage it.”

Moore was only 18 at the time. She and her first husband divorced five years later in 1986.

The next year, she married Willis. The two were together until 2000 and had three children, Rumer, Scout, and Tallulah Belle, together.
