When Jennie Garth posted a photo on Instagram with Beverly Hills, 90210 pal Tori Spelling, she got a flood of comments — and not all of them were nice. Many fans wondered if Jennie Garth had plastic surgery because she looked a bit different than fans remember.

Jennie Garth and Tori Spelling give some old school 90210 vibes

Garth and Spelling posted the same photo of them together on their Instagram accounts, as the two had gone to Israel to work on a commercial for Castro Kids. Garth captioned the pic: “Working with my favorite partner in crime! Thank you@castrofashion @castrofashion_kids#israel We “[heart emoji] Israel @90210onfox@torispelling.”

Spelling captioned the photo: “Best Friends in life and business… So excited to be in Israel filming an amazing commercial for @castrofashion_kids with my bestie @jenniegarth #90210#donnaandkellyforever #lifeimitatesart#artimitateslife #90210vibes #israel#beverlyhills90210 @90210onfox.”

Fans asked Garth if she had plastic surgery and she responded

The comments section of Garth’s post lit up with those wondering if she had plastic surgery or just “too much Botox.”

While Garth certainly could have ignored the trolls, she responded to some of them. When one person commented: “Oh Jennie! You are beautiful and don’t need all that Botox! Sadly you are unrecognizable here!,” she responded: “Thank you?”

Another commenter asked: “Omg what happened to your face?,” which Garth responded to with: “Ha you’re amazing.”

One person noted: “Omg! You seem so fake …” and Garth commented in response: “Nope, I’m human.”

Some fans defended Garth

Among the trolls were plenty of fans who stood up for Garth, as one commenter pointed out: “You know, some of our favorite people who we looked up to growing up are kind enough to share their lives with us and all you people can do is get on here and put them down. I’m disgusted really. They don’t have to share anything with us. They do it because they want to interact with their FANS. And then to see all these disgusting and negative comments. If you people don’t like their faces or them then why are you following and commenting on their damn Instagram pages. Get a life.”

Another fan pointed out that makeup could be part of the equation, sharing: “her makeup artist just tried a different look on her. Look at the eyebrows. It’s makeup. There are other pics from that day. She has no makeup and looks the same as usual. I guess you can’t play along with different looks when you’re famous lol.”

Garth came under fire when Luke Perry passed away

Garth was recently criticized for not posting a tribute on social media after her co-star Luke Perry passed away. She had posted a photo of her daughters on International Women’s Day and explained to the haters: “I chose to post a pic of my girls today. Because they are my life. Because today is a day to celebrate all women.”

She continued: “It took a lot for me to want to celebrate anything. I thought about it and I know that’s the way my dear friend would have wanted it. His kids were his life. And anyone who knew him knows that and knows he didn’t give a f*#k about social media. So please don’t assume or judge or make rude comments. That’s really uncool. Sincerely, Jennie.”
