Dolly Parton’s Weekend Ritual Involves a 3 am Wakeup Call and a Massive Southern Breakfast

One of the reasons people love Dolly Parton is her ability to stay positive. When she makes mistakes, she does not let them get her down no matter what. She keeps going since she has plenty of things to do every day.

Parton can accomplish all her tasks by getting up early in the morning. Her daily routine starts before the sun even rises. During her mornings, she cooks up a massive breakfast.

How early does Dolly Parton wake up?

Some fans would consider Parton to be the definition of an early riser. According to Insider, the singer revealed that she has a habit of starting her day at 3 a.m. In an interview, she explained that she does not require much sleep compared to others.

“I go to bed pretty early, but even if I’ve been up late — it’s just kind of like a little clock inside of me that says ‘it’s 3 o’clock!'” Parton said. “I don’t require as much sleep as a lot of other people do, that’s kind of a Parton family trait.”

Parton does not waste a second after she wakes up. The reason why she gets up early is that she does her “best work” during that time. According to Today, Parton mentioned that she does spiritual work, writing, and business work until 7 a.m.

The world feels calm to Parton, and she can get plenty of good ideas. The singer also mentioned that she does not do any major skincare routines. She only uses products that work for her.

Once Parton completes her morning work, she moves on to have a big meal. She enjoys cooking up a massive Southern breakfast for herself and her husband, Carl Dean. The pair have been married for 55 years. Parton wears a pair of high heels when she prepares the food, and the shoes help her reach the cabinets.

On the weekends, Parton tends to make sausage patties and may serve biscuits with some gravy. She makes milk gravy now and then since she cannot eat it all the time. Her breakfast time also includes a batch of fluffy scrambled eggs.

Parton revealed that she has a simple trick to make her eggs fluffy. Other breakfast foods she loves making are bacon and French toast. Parton and her husband visit various fast-food restaurants when she is not making homemade meals.

During the week, she primarily sticks to foods like an egg salad or a bagel with some cream cheese. Parton may have a low-carb diet, depending on if she is working.

Dolly Parton’s passion to create led to a successful theme park

Parton’s career consists of award-winning country music and humanitarian work. Even though she has accumulated immense fame, she works harder now than before. She enjoys what she does and manages to avoid a burnout. The singer has a passion for making new things and tries to stay with the creative process.

In the 1980s, Parton became the co-owner of a theme park and created Dollywood. Dollywood is in Tennessee, and the place hosts multiple festivals and music concerts every year. Parton’s lawyers thought the park was a mistake, but it became a huge tourist attraction in the state.

Parton trusted her gut, which she prefers to do when making difficult decisions. People can visit a museum that depicts her life and career. Parton assures potential guests that the food at Dollywood is “exceptionally good.”

Since Parton loves creating, she continuously comes up with development plans for the park. In 2019, she opened up a new area called Wildwood Grove.
