‘Dr. Pimple Popper’: Is Dr. Sandra Lee Still Married and How Many Kids Does She Have?
Even if you don’t immediately recognize the name Dr. Sandra Lee, chances are you probably heard of her show Dr. Pimple Popper. The popular dermatologist has been giving viewers a glimpse into what she does for patients every day in the TLC series. Those who can stomach it, have tuned in weekly and made the show a huge hit.
Now that Dr. Lee has become a household name many of her fans have questions about her life including who she’s married to, how many children she has, and what her net worth is. Here are the answers to those questions and more about the woman known as Dr. Pimple Popper.
Is Dr. Sandra Lee still married?
Dr. Lee has mentioned on her show that she is married to fellow dermatologist and business partner, Dr. Jeffrey Rebish. They two first met and started dating when they were in college together.
“We were both at medical school in Philadelphia to become dermatologists. Sandra walked into the room on orientation day, and I knew right away that she was the one,” Dr. Rebish told Refinery 29. “We dated through school, and when we both had our degrees, we moved out to California, where Sandra grew up and her dad owned a dermatology practice.”
The pair took over her father’s Upland, California practice and have been working alongside each other at Skin Physicians and Surgeons ever since.
“On the day-to-day, we’re both dermatologists, but we have very different roles in the office. I’m definitely not a ‘pimple popper.’ I’m the business guy, more behind the scenes,” he explained. “I handle the administrative side of the practice, while also seeing my own patients. But Sandra handles the cosmetic side of things — Botox and fillers, liposuction and eye lifts, and the more complex surgeries you see on TV. It’s not what I like to do, but those more theatrical surgeries have always been her specialty.”
How many kids do they have?
Dr. Lee and Dr. Rebish have two teenage sons together but their boys aren’t a big fan of their mom’s work as they don’t watch Dr. Pimple Popper.
However, something the family does share a love for is football and they all root for their hometown team, the Los Angeles Rams.
What is Dr. Lee’s net worth?
Before she had her own TV show, Dr. Lee was an internet sensation thanks to the videos she posted online of her pimple-popping skills. A few years ago she began offering free treatments in exchange for patients allowing her to film and share their procedures and her clips really took off. The Sun noted that she made over $4,000 every day for the videos.
Today, Dr. Lee reportedly has a net worth between $6 and $8 million. In addition to being a YouTube superstar and one of the most well-known dermatologists on the planet, Lee has her own skincare line called
SLMD Skincare Products. The collection includes acne cleanser and lotion, clarifying treatment with retinol, and a daily moisturizer.
