After five anime series and over 800 episodes, the Dragon Ball series still introduces new heroes and villains fans love. In the anime movie Dragon Ball Super: Super Broly, Cheelai was introduced. And she formed a close relationship with the Saiyan Broly. However, it seems that Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero could push them to the next level, as fans suspect a new poster shows Cheelai holding her and Broly’s kid.

A new poster for ‘Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero’ shows Cheelai cradling a mysterious bundle

In a new Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero poster, fans got a look at classic characters like Goku, Piccolo, Gohan, Vegeta, Bulma, and Android 21. Newer characters also posed for the new image, like Dr. Hedo.

However, fans focused on a character who may have only sort of appeared. Off to the left of the Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero poster, Cheelai cradles a brown bundle in her arms. And some fans think the bundle is actually the child of Broly and Cheelai.

Some fans refuted the idea. Others noted that Dragon Ball creator Akira Toriyama had a habit of dropping new generations in future installments of the anime series.

After all, even Goku and Chi-Chi’s son, Gohan, appeared first thing in early Dragon Ball Z episodes.

Is the bundle Broly’s child or just a fan theory?

Fans on Twitter have already debated if the brown bundle in the Cheelai’s arms in the Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero poster is Broly’s kid or something else entirely.

“I never bought the theory that it’s Broly’s baby,” one fan on Twitter said. “It looks like a duffel bag rather than swaddle cloths for a baby, and she is holding it in a way that would be considered a bit uncaring for a mother or parent to hold a baby. Unless it’s ready to nurse.”

Other fans theorized that she could just be holding supplies for herself and the other fighters.

However, fans can only debate until the anime movie Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero release date arrives. And fans have already taken to imagining how a Broly and Cheelai kid would be.

Could a ‘Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero’ Cheelai and Broly kid go Super Saiyan?

One Redditor took their curiosity online. Since Broly could go Super Saiyan, if he and Cheelai did have a child, would the child have the ability to tap into the ridiculous power other Saiyans possess?

Several other Redditors pointed out that several half Saiyans possessed the ability to go Super Saiyan. Gohan, Trunks, and Goten all possessed mixed parentage but still go Super Saiyan.

Until Toei Animation definitively reveals whether or not Cheelai and Broly have a kid or not Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero, fans continue to debate.

Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero releases on April 22, 2022.
