The list of professional dancers for season 29 of Dancing with the Stars was released. Cheryl Burke is back and she teased Tyra Banks is going to make some fashion changes for the cast.

Tyra Banks is the new host of ‘Dancing with the Stars’

Season 29 has a big shakeup with Banks hosting the show instead of Erin Andrews and Tom Bergeron. This came as a shock to them and fans.

“Just informed @DancingABC will be continuing without me. It’s been an incredible 15-year run and the most unexpected gift of my career. I’m grateful for that and for the lifelong friendships made. That said, now what am I supposed to do with all of these glitter masks?” Bergeron tweeted on July 13.

“Thank you ABC and the entire Dancing with the Stars family for six memorable seasons. Those years wouldn’t have been as special without my loving host Tom Bergeron, the talented dancers, and witty judges. I will always cherish my days on that set, even if I wasn’t the best at walking in heels,” Andrews said in a statement shared on Twitter.

The producer also released a statement about her new role. “I’ve been a fan of DWTS since its beginning … The fun mixed with raw emotion, seeing celebrities push past their comfort zones, the sizzling dance performances … it’s always transported me to my days of turning it up 10 notches on the catwalk,” she said in a news release, according to CNN.

Banks said she wanted an ‘America’s Next Top Model’ alum on the show

Some stars have been revealed for season 29, but there are still many surprises. Banks revealed there is one person from America’s Next Top Model who she’d like to watch dance.

The host told Us Weekly she wants Miss J. Alexander to be a star. Alexander instructed contestants on how to walk the runway on the modeling show. It would be a nice small reunion for the new season.

The show is already full of fashion. The stars and dancers are usually dressed in flashy dresses and outfits that allow them to move. But it looks like the fashion might be on another level for season 29.

“She mentioned something about like having her Sports Illustrated photographer there. I don’t know when these promo shoots are happening but I’m so excited,” Burke told Entertainment Tonight.

“She wants to bring like fashion to ballroom in a way. And I’m like as long as I can cha-cha and feel good in it then I’m down for whatever,” she added.

Fashion lovers might be in for a treat this season. Season 29 of Dancing with the Stars premieres on Sept. 14 on ABC.
