Season 29 will have Banks hosting instead of Bergeron and Andrews. Bergeron shared his reaction to the news on Twitter.

“Just informed @DancingABC will be continuing without me. It’s been an incredible 15-year run and the most unexpected gift of my career. I’m grateful for that and for the lifelong friendships made. That said, now what am I supposed to do with all of these glitter masks?” he tweeted on July 13.

It didn’t take long for him to start having more light-hearted tweets about the news. Two days later he tweeted, “I guess I won’t be getting back my monogrammed towels.” Andrews wrote back, “You got towels @Tom_Bergeron??” He added, “I’m sorry this is how you had to find out #Terry Cloth.”

Andrews also shared her statement on Twitter. “Thank you ABC and the entire Dancing with the Stars family for six memorable seasons. Those years wouldn’t have been as special without my loving host Tom Bergeron, the talented dancers, and witty judges. I will always cherish my days on that set, even if I wasn’t the best at walking in heels,” read her statement.

Fans shared their sadness over the news. Some even threatened to not watch the new season. Banks is still moving forward as a host. She has finally given her reaction to one of his tweets.
