‘American Horror Story: Double Feature’ features two mini-seasons

This year brought the original spinoff series, American Horror Stories, to the streaming platform Hulu. After a delay due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, season 10 of the original horror series finally premiered on the television network, FX, and the subscription service, Hulu.

Unlike past seasons, American Horror Story: Double Feature features two stories seasons, the first, titled “Red Tide,” detailing a creepy water-based threat. The second, titled “Death Valley” features terror by land.

“It means two seasons for the fans airing in one calendar year,” Ryan Murphy clarified with an Instagram comment from March 2021. “So double the viewing pleasure. One set by the sea (this cast has already been announced). A second by the sand (that casting announcement coming).”

Although some expect these seasons to be intertwined, not much is known about the second part of this American Horror Story season. Fans did learn when new episodes will premiere on FX and on the streaming platform Hulu.
