Ashtray captivated ‘Euphoria’ fans in the season 2 finale

Fezco (Angus Cloud) and Ashtray’s drug bust is juxtaposed against Lexi’s (Maude Apatow) play in the season 2 finale of Euphoria. After realizing Custer (Tyler Chase) is working with the feds, Ash stabs him in the neck.

Without hesitation, Fez drops Custer’s phone into a Big Gulp cup and prepares to go down for the stabbing. But Ash won’t allow it.

Fans watched as Ash bunkered down in the bathroom with a tub full of weapons. When the authorities arrived, he started shooting, only to end up with a red dot aimed directly at his forehead. The gun goes off, but we don’t see where the bullet hits Ashtray — if it hit him at all.

Matt Reeves already teased a sequel to The Batman during the United Kingdom premiere of the film. “I really believe in what we’ve done, and I’d be excited to tell more stories,” Reeves said (via ComingSoon.net).

“We are already telling other stories in the streaming space, we’re doing stuff on HBO Max, we’re doing a Penguin show with [Colin Ferrell], which is gonna be super cool … But we have started talking about another movie, but, y’know, right now we’ll just put it out in the world, and I’ll try to enjoy this.”

Another movie sounds like the perfect opportunity to introduce Batman’s trusty sidekick. But only time will tell.

‘The Umbrella Academy’ Season 3 will feature ‘Euphoria’ star Javon Walton

Walton’s future involvement in The Batman movies isn’t a sure thing right now. But his part in The Umbrella Academy Season 3 is.

The new season will come out sometime in 2022, but Netflix has not announced a specific date. As Walton alluded to in his interview with Esquire, fans will get to see the Euphoria star in a “secret role.”

“The cast was phenomenal to work with,” Walton said of the superhero dramedy starring Elliot Page and Aidan Gallagher, among others. “My character though, people aren’t going to be expecting that. People will think I’m going to be part of the other academy and all this other stuff.”

He’s referencing the Sparrow Academy, another group of seven children with superpowers. But fans of the Netflix series already know who they are:

  1. Marcus (Justin Cornwell)
  2. Ben (Justin H. Min)
  3. Fei (Britne Oldford)
  4. Alphonso (Jake Epstein)
  5. Sloane (Genesis Rodriguez)
  6. Jayme (Cazzie David)
  7. Christopher (Credited as the Existential Dread Inducing Psykronium Cube)

It’s unclear what Walton’s role in The Umbrella Academy will be. All he could say was “it’s something that people aren’t really expecting.”
