Even Kylie Jenner Is Staying Inside and Doing Puzzles During the Coronavirus Pandemic
These days, everyone is feeling a major life shift now that the coronavirus has become widespread throughout the United States. Restaurants are closing, companies are transitioning to work-from-home tactics, and even celebrities are feeling it — Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson are fighting the virus themselves.
Kylie Jenner is one of the most famous women in the world, but nobody is safe from the current COVID-19 outbreak. And even she has been kicking back and choosing puzzles over partying.
Kylie Jenner usually has a full schedule of social events
Jenner’s family has always been of the highest social status, and her fame and money mean that she’s constantly invited to the biggest events. Though she makes as much time for her daughter, Stormi, as she can, she often posts Instagram stories spending time with friends later in the night.
Plus, Jenner is invited to many social events, too. She often attends awards shows, celebrity weddings, and other gatherings because of her wide circle of friends and social status. But these days, she’s keeping away from the public.
She’s likely following suit and sending her Kylie Cosmetics employees home
Many companies have announced new work-from-home policies over the past few days as a way of doing their part to slow the spread of the virus. Jenner has a billion-dollar company, Kylie Cosmetics, which she owns nearly half of alongside global cosmetics powerhouse Coty. Though there hasn’t been any confirmation on Jenner’s company’s plans, she’s likely following suit with most large companies and sending her employees home as well.
At this point, states are starting to announce shutdowns. Schools have closed throughout the country, and it’s possible that the government might order all businesses to shut their doors for a certain period of time.
Jenner recently posted an Instagram story of her doing a lengthy puzzle
Jenner, like many others, has clearly been affected by the virus’ rapid spread. People have been “self-quarantining” as much as possible to avoid spreading the virus, and various stores such as Abercrombie, Aritzia, and others have announced that they’re closing until further notice to do their part in slowing the spread. And now, even Jenner is staying home.
The beauty mogul posted photos to her Instagram story of her doing a puzzle — a hobby many people have taken on now that they’re spending so much time at home. She posted an image of the pieces in a pile, then another image of the finished product.
Celebrities have spoken out and are pleading with others to stay home
More and more celebrities have started speaking out about coronavirus, speaking their minds on both the government and individuals. Hilary Duff took to Instagram to share her thoughts on the handling of the situation, while Maren Morris shamed everyone on Broadway in Nashville for being out and about during the outbreak.
Right now, it’s unclear how long the current situation will last. But the CDC has encouraged people to practice “social distancing” to help “flatten the curve” of the virus’ spread. And Jenner seems to be taking those instructions to heart.
