Fans Are Confused by Khloe Kardashian’s Accent in This Throwback Video
Kardashian-Jenner fans love a good throwback photo or video from the days before they were famous, but this latest old video featuring Khloe Kardashian with sisters Kendall and Kylie Jenner has their fans super confused. What’s the deal with Khloe’s accent?
Teen Khloe helps with her adorable little sisters
The video, posted by Kendall, shows a baby Kylie Jenner taking a bath in the kitchen sink with Kendall standing by to help with her hands in the bubbles. Khloe explains what happened while she was babysitting the girls that required a bath in the sink.
She explained: “Kylie’s had her lunch. I wasn’t watching her very well and I gave her yogurt and it went everywhere, so now she’s taking a bath with Kendall.”
Caitlyn Jenner is heard off-camera, asking why she’s using the kitchen sink, and Khloe admits: “In the sink, because I was too lazy to go bring her upstairs.” Fair enough.
Caitlyn then attempts to calm the fussy baby, asking Kylie if she’s having fun and noting, “Say hi,” while zooming in on Kylie’s face.
Caitlyn asks Kendall to say hello to the camera too and asks: “Kendall, how old are you?,” which she answers two. It’s totally cute overload.
The video was a hit but confused many for this reason
Some of the Kar-Jenners commented on the video, with Kim noting: “OMG this makes me smile so much!” and Caitlyn commenting: “Love youuuuu!! This makes me so happy.” Kendall responded, “me too.”
Many fans wondered what was up with Khloe’s voice in the video and sister Kourtney posed this question: “What kind of accent does @khloekardashian have?”
Khloe responded with: “I was waiting for you to chime in and hate on my beautiful accent.”
While none of the immediate family members had a good answer for the way Khloe’s voice seemed much different from her soothing voice fans are used to, there were some theories. One fan noted: “a @KrisJenner accent” and another agreed, writing, “you sound like your mom!” Another fan guessed: “she kinda sounds like Britney Spears in that movie Crossroads” and still another said “Cher from Clueless.”
Others remarked how they loved the accent, even if it couldn’t be explained. A lot of fans commented on how this babysitting moment showed a glimpse into a great mommy in the making, as one person commented: @khloekardashian was always meant to be a good mom.”
Kim Kardashian’s flashback photo got attention too
While this retro video was a hit with fans, Kim Kardashian’s recent flashback photo of her with sisters Kourtney and Khloe in matching outfits also had people talking.
Kim captioned the pic, in which Khloe wears a floral dress and Kim and Kourtney wear a floral vest, white shirt, and dark printed pants: “Triplets.” Mom Kris Jenner commented, “Honestly I should have been a stylist, just LOOK at these outfits!!!!!”
Fans couldn’t get over how much Kim looks like her daughter, North West, in the photo, with one follower writing: “North and Kim are like twins,” and another adding, “North looks just like you.”
