Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are two celebrities who have been famous for many years now. Kardashian is a TV star and businesswoman who rose to fame in the 2000s and continue to attract attention everywhere she goes. Meanwhile, West is a popular rapper who has released numerous hit singles in the past 15 years.

Kanye West has made headlines for his numerous antics in the past few years

Since the beginning of his career, West has been known for doing a variety of unexpected things.

For example, in 2005 he claimed during a charity event for Hurricane Katrina victims that “George Bush doesn’t care about black people.” West also shocked onlookers once more in 2009 when he interrupted Taylor Swift’s acceptance speech at the MTV Video Music Awards to tell the world Beyoncé deserved the award.

More recently, West continues to make headlines for his various antics. In 2018, he came out in support of Donald Trump, saying he would have voted for the Republican president in the election two years ago. That same year, he also said he believed slavery “sounds like a choice.”

In 2019, West received backlash for approving of rapper T.I.’s decision to put his daughter through “virginity testing.” West called the act “God-approved.”

Recently, in July 2020, West announced he had decided to run for president in the November election. His platform is based on anti-vaccination, pro-life, and religious policies.

Kim Kardashian has always supported West

Throughout the years, Kardashian has continued to support West.

Since the beginning, Kardashian has never spoken out against West’s many controversial statements. In fact, several sources have reportedly shared Kardashian might disagree with West in private, but she would continue to stand by him publicly.

An insider shared with Hollywood Life after Kardashian retweeted West’s presidential announcement, “They have healthy discussions and disagreements constantly over things. It’s one of the many things Kanye loves about Kim. She may not always agree with his thoughts and ideas, but she will never not stand by her man.”

Why fans think Kardashian and West are ‘digging their own grave’

While it’s one thing to be loyal to a loved one, a lot of fans believe Kardashian’s insistence on standing by West’s controversial behavior could be killing both of their brands.

“They’re digging their own grave and I for one am looking forward to it,” a fan wrote on Reddit. “Can’t believe I used to be such a big fan of these people.”

Some people also speculate Kardashian could part ways with West if her brand gets too affected by his words and actions.

“That is probably the only thing that would make Kim divorce Kanye. If it’s bad for the brand,” one persn said. “Kanye can continue to have his episodes, if they can keep it under wraps. The minute the brand takes a hit, Kim will strongly consider leaving Kanye to keep her brand intact.”

However, some fans believe this is nothing new for the couple. Considering both Kardashian and West have been controversial figures for most of their careers, it does not seem like they worry too much about their image taking a hit.

“I’m pretty sure Kim is so happy right now cause the spotlight on her once again and will probably drop a lot products soon,” one fan wrote.
