‘Floribama Shore’: Nilsa Prowant Finally Set a Wedding Date
Floribama Shore star Nilsa Prowant is getting married to Gus! But it’s not her co-star Gus Smyrnios. Here are all of the details we know so far about the reality TV star’s 2021 wedding.
Nilsa Prowant and Gus Gazda are engaged
Prowant’s boyfriend Gus Gazda proposed in January 2021. “The love of my life asked me to spend forever with him tonight on my 27th birthday,” the reality star wrote on Instagram. “I can’t believe I get to marry my best friend and bring our son Gray into this world soon.”
Prowant and Gazda have been dating since the fall of 2019. The Floribama Shore roommate has been open about how Gazda “picked up the broken pieces” of her heart and put them back together.
“You never cease to amaze me,” Prowant continued in her caption. “I can always count on you! You are kind, caring, strong, and you love me so good. I know with you by my side, I can get through anything. I would say yes over and over and over again. Every single time. Now let’s plan a wedding.”

Like many other MTV stars, including Mike “The Situation” and Lauren Sorrentino and Deena Cortese, Prowant is expecting a baby boy this May. Gazda and Prowant will welcome their son Grayson in a few weeks.
“Even in the darkest of times the Lord still shines his light,” Prowant announced on Instagram. Her father, Todd Prowant, died from complications after a fall in August 2020.
“I can’t help but to think my dad had a hand in this,” Prowant wrote on Instagram when she and Gazda learned of their baby’s sex in December 2020. Prowant’s Floribama Shore roommates and many fans can’t wait for Baby Grayson to arrive.

On Apr. 10, 2021, Prowant took to Twitter to share a big wedding update with fans. “We’ve picked a wedding date,” she wrote. “November can’t come fast enough!”
“Better be having a wedding special!!!” one fan replied, hopeful Floribama Shore will follow in Jersey Shore: Family Vacation’s footsteps. The exact date of Prowant and Gazda’s wedding is unclear.
So is whether or not the event will be part of Floribama Shore. But one thing is for sure — a November date gives the couple plenty of time to welcome their son and finalize wedding plans.

Since Prowant has lived with the roommates for four seasons now, many fans wonder who from the Floribama Shore cast will be part of her wedding. According to her tweets, Prowant is including Aimee Hall and Candace Rice in her big day. When a fan asked about the duo being in Prowant’s bridal party, she excitedly replied: “Yes they are!!!”
