Though quarantine measures are starting to shift, people have become more accustomed to binge-watching shows during the past year. Once Friends left Netflix and jumped to HBO Max, it quickly shot to the No. 1 spot on the streamer’s viewership charts.

What’s the gist of the ‘Friends’ gig?

With so much excitement in the air for the Friends reunion that’s due to film in March 2021, now is a prime time to participate in any fan-centric campaign for the show. It’s time to revisit the ’90s in the name of receiving some income through a short-term job opening with Best Value Schools.

The company is seeking five lucky applicants to watch the first five seasons of Friends, and those who are selected will earn $1,000 and some central perks. Are you in the house with a healthy binge-watching appetite? Do you consider yourself a Friends aficionado? This could be for you if you meet the conditions.

From Best Value Schools: “We’re looking for Friends fans that have lively, outgoing social media personalities and who would love to post about their Friends marathon using the hashtag #bestvalueschools.org and @bestvalueschools.org.”

How does one apply for the ‘Friends’ binge marathon?

The requirements for this gig are simple. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age and reside in the United States. You must also be active on social media.

The five people who are chosen must complete the first five seasons of the series, watching each of the 121 episodes in their entirety. All hires are as independent contractors, and each must provide their own access to a streaming service to watch the series.

Per the job description: “Simply watch every episode of the first 5 seasons of Friends wherever you want and post it on your social media while you watch! Once you’re done watching the first 5 seasons, you’ll rank your favorite episodes and post them online.”

Watch ‘Friends’ to earn $1,000 and swag

In addition to earning $1,000 for the task, those who are hired will receive a Friends Central Perk chalkboard mug, Friends classic logo t-shirt, Friends fleece blanket, Friends-themed Tervis Tumbler, and a $100 DoorDash gift card. One person will also be gifted with the entire 10-season series on Blu-ray.

Currently, Friends is streaming HBO Max and there are plans to film the reunion in front of a live studio audience.
