General Hospital pulled out all the stops for their shows this week. Luke Spencer got killed (allegedly). Tracy got arrested (really). And Sonny decided to open his heart for Carly. The jury’s still out on the end result of all this. So, let’s get right into it!

[Spoiler alert: Spoilers for this past week’s episodes of General Hospital are ahead.]

On ‘General Hospital,’ Luke is (allegedly) dead — and Victor (allegedly) killed him

While there’s still some speculation as to whether Luke is really dead or not, SoapHub reports that the General Hospital mainstay is not only dead, but that he was killed by none other than Victor Cassadine. Remember when Laura accused Cyrus of trying to kill her? And Cyrus swore it wasn’t him? As it turns out, the evil drug lord was telling the truth — he didn’t order a hit on Laura.

But did Victor really have Luke killed? Victor is known for his double-talk, after all. But Bobbie is under the impression that Luke was assassinated, even if Laura doesn’t believe it (yet).

Sam and Alexis dispatched Dante to arrest Tracy

Sante fans were in luck on the Jan. 6 episode of General Hospital. After being off the canvas for what seemed like forever, Dante Falconieri (Dominick Zamprogna) was back with a vengeance. And when he showed up, he played quite the hero.

Tracy found out the truth about the Bailey/Louise situation, which scared the living daylights out of Brook Lynn and Maxie. Tracy, though, is an OG baddie, so she doesn’t care how much she scares people.

Fortunately, though, Dante showed up just in time to arrest her for a litany of crimes she’s got outstanding warrants on. And he couldn’t have shown up at a better time, because she was thisclose to spilling the beans about Bailey/Louise to Ned Quartermaine. Dante, though, got dispatched by Sam (and Alexis) to do the deed. It pays to have a boyfriend willing to do anything for you!

Sonny laid it all out for Carly

After his relationship with Carly imploded, Sonny was never quite the same. Never mind the fact that the woman married his right-hand man in what seemed like the blink of an eye. The point is, if Sonny could turn back time, he’d never go to Nixon Falls and live life as “Mike” with Nina. (Although to be fair, he never really had a choice in the matter, what with the “memory lapse” and all.)

On the Jan. 7 episode of General Hospital, SoapHub reports that Sonny will lay it all on the line for his One True Love. He’s certainly put her through enough — cheating, bad behavior, outside children — and there are some fans who don’t want these two back together. No matter, though. The heart wants what the heart wants, and Sonny’s heart wants Carly.

Sonny will declare that he can’t spend another minute without Carly. He wants to put the past behind them and move on. But the question still hangs in the air: can Carly put it all behind them and move on — and forward with her man? We’ll just have to tune in to upcoming episodes of General Hospital to find out.
