‘General Hospital’ Wild Speculation: Carly’s New Romance Stirs Sonny’s Sultry Passions
Sonny and Carly are the toxic General Hospital couple that can’t seem to stay away from one another. Through cheating, marriages, remarriage, disappearances, and an episode of being “Mike from Nixon Falls,” Sonny and Carly are drawn together like moths to flames. In recent episodes, however, the signs have been pointing to Carly moving on from this messy marriage. And while that’s thrilled some fans, it’s disappointed others. But in this week’s General Hospital wild speculation, we tackle the possibility that Sonny and Carly get together after Sonny gets bitten by the green-eyed monster.

On ‘General Hospital,’ Carly decided it was time to move on
The latest General Hospital spoilers from Celeb Dirty Laundry reveal that Carly finally has accepted it was time to move on from Sonny.
Never mind the fact that she married his right-hand man, Jason, when she thought he was dead. (Of course, as fans already know, Sonny wasn’t dead. He was just living his life as “Mike” the cook in Nixon Falls. And he made a killer sauce!) No, apparently, catching Sonny in bed with Nina after all that drama was the final straw that broke the camel’s back.
So now, the outlet concedes that she’s thinking about a few different men for her next conquest. Still, the outlet teases that Nina’s still holding her breath, being that she knows the wrath of Carly all too well (as was evidenced by the slap heard ’round Port Charles). Is she going to react negatively to all this?
She’s exploring her options
Alas, General Hospital fans, that doesn’t look to be the case. Nina can breathe a little easier, because SoapHub confirms that Carly just wants to get on with her life, and it’s a life that doesn’t involve one Sonny Corinthos.
The outlet teases that Carly will be exploring some options in the love department. She’s not quite sure if she wants Drew — or, perhaps, a totally different suitor. (It does seem her attraction to Drew is based on her missing Jason, but of course, that’s just speculation. Maybe she didn’t quite get over Jason after all.)
Regardless of whom Carly chooses to move on with, one thing seems to be for certain: it’s going to provoke Sonny’s anger.
But Sonny won’t be a happy man
General Hospital fans know that whatever Sonny wants, Sonny gets. And he’s been heartbroken over Carly for way too long. But no “mob wife” respects a man who’s a simp. So, Sonny has to bring out a completely different side of himself if he wants to win back his wife.
And that side will be brought out once he sees Carly moving on with another man. The green-eyed monster will have bitten, and Sonny will not be a happy man. How far will he be willing to go to get his wife back after that one?
Of course, this is all just speculation. Maybe this really is the end of the “CarSon” ship after all. (And they all need therapy anyway.) We’ll just have to tune in to upcoming episodes of General Hospital to find out for sure.
