Why Ramsay considers this burger ‘disgusting’ and ‘bloody delicious’

The chef and television personality recently visited Burger Brasserie located in the heart of the Strip between Paris Las Vegas and Bally’s Las Vegas Hotel and Casino.

On his show Gordon Ramsay’s American Road Trip, he decided to try the 777 burger that the pub is known for. Insider reported that the burger is made with an American Wagyu patty and topped with poached lobster meat, goat cheese, pancetta, foie gras, arugula, and 100-year-old balsamic vinegar. It also comes with a steep price tag. However, that shouldn’t be too much of a turn off since one of Ramsay’s eateries in London has a $106 burger on the menu.

When giving viewers a preview of their meal, the Hell’s Kitchen star stated that they’d be tasting “a burger of absolute class. A burger that’s gonna blow your minds. A burger that’s gonna cost $777.” Yes, you read that price correctly.

So how did they like the high-end, high-priced meal?

“The lobster and foie gras really come through which I was not expecting to go together,” Ramsay’s friend and co-host Gino D’Acampo explained.

“It’s alright,” Fred Sirieix opined. “I just can’t compute the price and the taste.”

“Enjoy! It’s Vegas!” Ramsay chimed in before adding: “I mean, it’s disgustingly expensive, but it’s bloody delicious!”

The chef said this is the weirdest thing he’s ever eaten

So we know the 777 is one of the most expensive burgers Ramsay has ever eaten but another thing fans want to know from the man who’s tasted almost everything is: What’s the weirdest thing he’s ever eaten?

“I have to say it was when I ate a beating cobra’s heart,” Ramsay answered. “This thing made me feel sick. I can still feel it bouncing around it in my tummy… two minutes later I passed it out. “

Lots of celebrities love to cook and have shared their recipes and skills in the kitchen with fans. And if you ask Ramsay, there’s one star that is truly a foodie and has won him over with her dishes.

The chef praised the supermodel Gigi Hadid cooking during a live event in December 2020 calling her “one of the most sophisticated foodies on the planet.”

“I remember when she first came on MasterChef and we had an amazing couple of days cooking together,” Ramsay told Insider. “She has one of the most articulated palates on the planet. She uses travel to her strength in a way that she educates her palate. The countries she visits — she gets incredibly involved with their cultures.”
