The promo trailer for Grey’s Anatomy Season 18 Episode 6, “Everyday Is a Holiday (With You),” starts with a clip of Meredith and Nick together in the car. Nick tells Meredith he’s going to “head up to the cabin for two whole days,” indicating that he wants the general surgeon to join him. However, Meredith reveals that she needs to go home to Seattle for her children.

Nevertheless, Grey’s Anatomy throws Mer a curveball, canceling her flight out of Minnesota. Then Meredith walks into a hotel room and calls Amelia Shepherd (Caterina Scorsone).

“I’m in a hotel room missing Thanksgiving with my family,” Meredith says.

Now, it seems Meredith is stuck in Minnesota with no one to hang out with during the holidays — except for Nick. So will take up his offer and go up to the cabin? Whatever happens, it seems likely the new episode will use this time to expand on Meredith and Nick’s relationship. According to a press release from ABC, Nick will help Meredith “in more ways than one” after her flight is canceled.

Although Meredith faces travel complications in Grey’s Anatomy Season 18 Episode 6, it seems like Amelia has it covered. In the trailer for the Nov. 18 episode, the neurosurgeon reassures Meredith things will be “fine” without her in Seattle. Then the promo reveals that Atticus “Link” Lincoln (Chris Carmack) is helping out with Thanksgiving.

In the preview, Amelia asks Link whether the food is burning in the oven. However, it seems everything has gone wrong with the Thanksgiving feast. Link says they’d have to “turn on the oven for it to burn.” So nothing is ready. It’s also possible that Link’s comment alludes to his current relationship status with Amelia.

Meanwhile, ABC’s synopsis for “Everyday Is a Holiday (With You)” simply says “Amelia and Link reconnect.” However, viewers still don’t know whether that’s a good or bad thing yet.

The Grey’s Anatomy Season 18 Episode 6 promo trailer ends with Amelia and Link’s Thanksgiving disaster. But ABC dropped one more clue about the next new episode on Nov. 18.

According to the network’s synopsis, Miranda Bailey (Chandra Wilson) and Richard Webber (James Pickens Jr.) will “seek out emergency surgeries.” So it appears the two surgeons will be busy this Thanksgiving. However, it’s possible they take a break.

New photos from “Everyday Is a Holiday (With You)” show Richard and Bailey eating a meal together with Levi Schmitt (Jake Borelli), Nico Kim (Alex Landi), Jo Wilson (Camilla Luddington), and a baby in a stroller.

Now, it seems likely the child is baby Luna because the stroller is next to Jo. That said, don’t forget that Bailey and Ben Warren (Jason George) might adopt baby Pruitt after Dean Miller’s (Okieriete Onaodowan) death in the crossover on Nov. 11. Meanwhile, the promo Station 19 Season 5 Episode 6,” Little Girl Blue,” highlights the possibility that Pruitt will leave with her grandfather. So Shondaland fans will have to watch what happens with Bailey. Stay tuned.
