From Lizzo’s stunning opener to the Nipsey Hussle tribute, the 2020 Grammy Awards were full of stunning performances, moments of silence, and beautiful fashion. Fans had been eager for Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton to grace the stage.

The Voice couple teamed up to perform their new duet, “Nobody But You.” “We [sing together] all the time,” the couple told E! News on the Grammys red carpet. “We sing at the house, music is such a part of our everyday life anyway together, so performing here—it’s the Grammys, so you’re nervous about that—but the actual performing together is just what we do.” Unfortunatly, their performance, though highly anticipated wasn’t all that fans of the couple expected it to be.

In fact, the couple’s names began trending on Twitter as fans began dragging them from everything from their on-stage chemistry to their wardrobe choices.

This is why Blake Shelton fell in love with Gwen Stefani

Though Stefani is typically the more expressive one when it comes to sharing candid and PDA-filled moments of herself and Shelton on social media, the country star is very much in love with the No Doubt frontwoman.

During an interview with Gayle King for CBS, Shelton gushed, “She has a way of looking at life in a way that I’ve never experienced. She’s the most understanding, kindhearted person I’ve ever met.” Since Stefani and Shelton are obviously very different, we can see how their connection, bond, and love for one another helped keep their bond strong for the past several years.

Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani aren’t getting married anytime soon

Both Shelton and Stefani have been previously married and divorced. In fact, their marriages ended around the same time as a result of infidelity. Because of this and Stefani’s Catholic faith, neither are in a rush to head down the aisle. “Blake and Gwen are still in no rush to get married,” the source spilled to HollywoodLife. “They moved in together not too long ago and are very happy in their new home. They’re very content with the status of the relationship and neither feels the need to get married anytime soon, however, nobody would be shocked if they did get engaged soon.”

Fans hated Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton’s Grammys performance

They may have chemistry in real life, but apparently, the musicians don’t have it when it comes to performing. One fan tweeted, “Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton have the palpable on-stage chemistry of two parents who have nothing in common but their kids are best friends so they’re forced to constantly interact and it’s always slightly awkward.”

Another fan wasn’t having any Stefani slander, “i have no sh*t to talk about Gwen Stefani putting out a trash ballad with her big stubbly country ham. You dont do something like that unless you’re stupid happy, like this abomination is confirmation that she’s very in love. May we all find someone we’d set our brand on fire for.”

To make things even worse, Shelton’s ex-wife, Miranda Lambert, was in the audience to witness it all, and we all know how much those two despite our another.
