Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton have been hot and heavy for several years now. The two initially met back in 2014 when they were both coaches on the hit NBC competition series, The Voice. Since they were both in their own respective relationships at the time, the pair of them were just friends who often got cheeky and flirty for the cameras.
However, by September 2015 — both Stefani and Shelton had split from their respective partners, Gavin Rossdale and Miranda Lambert. Since they spent so much time working together on The Voice, it was only natural that the pair of them leaned on one another during this trying time.
By November 2015 — a rep for Shelton confirmed their romance and the rest has gone down in history. Since then, the musicians have been joined at the hip. They’ve dazzled us with their witty and flirtatious banter and their PDA. Though they’ve moved according to their own pace — especially since the No Doubt frontwoman has three young sons — it looks like the couple is ready to take things to the next level.

Since their relationship isn’t exactly new, it’s pretty normal for Stefani and Shelton to spend the holidays together. However, the fact that the songstress’ children have bonded with Shelton and his family has only made things sweeter. The couple and Stefani’s kiddos often spend time with on Shelton’s Oklahoma ranch. That’s exactly what went down over Thanksgiving weekend.
“We all fly out to Oklahoma, like 30 of us,” Stefani told Entertainment Tonight. “Blake has this bed and breakfast hotel that we all stay at, and it’s just pretty incredible. We have fun, we all cook together, it’s fun.” She then said, “This’ll be — I wanna say the fourth [year], but it might be more than that.” Clearly the couple already has special holiday traditions.

Since they’d both been previously married and divorced — it was important for The Voice coaches to move at their own pace. However, the pair just made a huge leap of faith by purchasing a home together in Los Angeles.
“The house was a big commitment for both of them and they’re very, very happy to be living there,” an insider told Hollywood Life. “Gwen loves to cook so she loves hosting dinner parties there. Blake has taken on the role of a second father figure to Gwen’s boys and they really respect Blake. He’s very helpful now with everything for the boys, especially now that they’re under the same roof. It was a big but good step for them. Living together makes it easier for them as a couple since they’re always together, anyways.”

Though they obviously love and adore one another — marriage isn’t exactly in the cards yet for the love birds. “Blake and Gwen are still in no rush to get married,” the source spilled to HollywoodLife. “They moved in together not too long ago and are very happy in their new home. They’re very content with the status of the relationship and neither feels the need to get married anytime soon, however, nobody would be shocked if they did get engaged soon.”
