Gwyneth Paltrow has had a very impressive career. She has starred in some of the biggest movies in Hollywood. However, her career goals have included so much more than acting. She is has written several books, including a best-selling healthy living cookbook, she is also a singer and a businesswoman.

Although she has received plenty of praise for her acting and writing skills, she is definitely no stranger to controversy. In the past, her website, Goop, has promoted some questionable products and advice about women’s health that has made many fans question her level of expertise (and also her sanity). Recently, Paltrow made yet another comment that has made many of her fans angry.

This time, however, her comments were directed toward fellow MCU actor Zendaya.

Gwyneth Paltrow has a hard time remembering her job history

MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe) is an iconic media franchise that was created by the Marvel Studios and has quickly grown to become one of the most globally-recognized franchises in the entertainment industry. The MCU has produced several movies, TV series, and comic books since 2008. The first movie that the MCU made was Iron Man. Since then, the iconic media franchise has released 22 other movies, including Thor, Captain America: The First Avenger, Spider-Man: Homecoming, and Ant-Man.

Because there have been so many movies made in such a short period of time, and many of the movies overlap each other, some of the actors forget which movies they have starred in. And Paltrow had recently found out that she was actually one of those actors that couldn’t keep track of the list of Marvel movies that she had appeared in.

In Spider-Man: Homecoming, Paltrow’s character, Pepper, made a quick appearance at the end of the movie. However, when she went on Netflix’s The Chef Show, she and fellow Ironman actor and director, Jon Favreau, were talking about Spider-Man: Homecoming and she was shocked to find out that she had actually been in the movie.

She had argued with Favreau for a few minutes and insisted that she was never in that movie. “I was in The Avengers,” she adamantly told her friend. When Favreau kept insisting that they were in The Avenger and Spider-Man, she had just looked at him as if he were crazy. Finally, Favreau decided to describe the scene that she was in to her and she suddenly said: “That was Spider-Man?”

In Paltrow’s defense, filming an MCU film can be very confusing for all of the actors. Because the director of one movie may decide to take a scene and put it into another movie, many of the actors do not know what movie they are filming at the time.

Gwyneth Paltrow forgets about ‘Spider-Man: Homecoming again

After Paltrow appeared on The Chef Show, she seemed like she finally remembered that she was, in fact, in Spider-Man: Homecoming. However, it seems like she has recently had a lapse in memory yet again.

About a week ago, Paltrow commented on a photo of Zendaya. In the photo, Zendaya was wearing the exact same shirt that Paltrow wore during her photoshoot for Harper’s Bazaar. When Paltrow saw the picture, she wore: “Thank God I can say I have something in common with Zendaya.”

The comment seemed a little odd to most people because she and Zendaya already had something in common, they were both in the movie Spider-Man: Homecoming.

Why are fans so furious about Gwyneth Paltrow’s comment on Zendaya’s Instagram photo?

Many fans are able to forgive Paltrow for not being able to remember which Marvel movie she was in.

However, they have a harder time forgiving the fact that she can’t seem to remember her co-stars. This isn’t the first time that she didn’t remember on of her co-stars.

According to Screen Rant, Paltrow did not remember ever working with Samuel L. Jackson (who plays Nick Fury in several MCU movies.)

This time, however, fans thought that it was a very disrespectful move to comment on one of her co-star’s photos and admit to not remembering working with her.
