Hailey Bieber Is ‘Impressed’ That Justin Bieber Is a ‘Mature, Stable Adult’ After Being a Teen Celebrity
Hailey recently talked about her husband in a video series about social media, and she shared that she is “impressed” at how he has become a “mature, stable adult” after years of being a teen celebrity.
When did Justin Bieber become famous?
Justin first garnered attention from music industry executives in 2008 after they saw videos of him singing on YouTube. He was 14 years old at the time.
A year later, he became more well-known to the public after the release of his singles “One Time” and “One Less Lonely Girl.” Then, in 2010, Justin had his first top 10 single on the Billboard Hot 100 with the hit song “Baby (featuring Ludacris).”
He continued releasing more music and became one of the biggest pop stars in the world. Justin was also known for having a legion of adoring fans in many countries.
Nowadays, the singer is in his late 20s. He continues to top charts with hit singles year after year, and it does not seem his influence is going away any time soon.
Hailey Bieber is ‘impressed’ at how Justin Bieber has grown over the years
Justin’s wife Hailey is a social media influencer, and she has launched a YouTube channel to connect with fans. Hailey recently sat down with psychiatrist Dr. Jess Clemons to discuss social media and mental health in a series of videos.
In a video posted on April 7, Hailey touched on her husband’s fame and his experience dealing with criticism as a young pop star.
“I had it on a much smaller level, but even my husband had to just go through everything in front of everybody and make lots of mistakes in front of the entire world,” Hailey said. “There was nothing that he could do that wouldn’t get by the media.”
She continued, “It always made me feel really sad for him because so much of what was going on was what anybody his age would be doing except it was on this much bigger scale. There was so much more pressure on him to be, like, this perfect example to people.”
With everything that Justin went through, Hailey shared that she is “impressed” with who he has become.
“I always say to him, ‘I’m so impressed with how normal you are because I don’t even know what that feels like to go through mentally, emotionally, physically,’” she said. “I know that it did have a big effect on him and I’m just grateful that he’s able to be the mature, stable adult that he is now.”
Justin Bieber also helped Hailey Bieber deal with social media
In another video of her YouTube series, Hailey revealed that she tries to keep social media from negatively influencing her life. For example, she does not have a Twitter account anymore and only checks Instagram on weekends.
She also credited Justin for helping her move social media out of her daily life.
Hailey said about putting a limit on social media usage, “I think I’ve gone through a phase where I’m like ‘I get it. I don’t want to hear it,’ and then I do it and he’s like, ‘I told you. Life is way better this way.’ And he was so entirely right.”
