Beyoncé is known for keeping a low-profile, but whenever she resurfaces into the spotlight, fans are quick to talk about her appearance — which they’re convinced has changed over the years.

Recently, rumors have been flying around that Bey’s underwent plastic surgery for her lips and derierré, and it seems like they’ve only gotten more out of control. So what’s the deal: has Beyoncé had work done to her body?

Fans have speculated that Beyoncé has lip fillers

Rumors of Beyoncé getting lip fillers have circulated through the world wide web for what feels like forever.

In 2017, fans began to speculate that the singer received lip fillers after seeing an Instagram post in which her lips looked larger.

However, the singer’s representative, Yvette Noel-Schure, debunked claimed that she had her lips enhanced, noting that they just looked fuller because Bey was pregnant with her twins, Sir and Rumi, at the time.

Three years later, those lip filler rumors resurfaced when Beyoncé appeared on the celebrity-filled program One World: Together at Home concert.

Though many thought she looked amazing, others were fixated on the singer’s lips as they couldn’t tell if she overlined them or received lip injections.

While many were torn over what to believe, Bey’s loyal Beyhive was quick to come to her defense, pointing out that her body went through various changes during her pregnancy, which was why her lips looked visibly fuller.

Beyoncé even admitted to these changes during her 2019 Netflix documentary, Homecoming, confessing, “My body went through more than I knew it could.”

Some believe that she’s also had a Brazilian Butt Lift done

In addition to lip filler rumors, it’s also been speculated that Beyoncé received but injections following the birth of her twins.

The rumors surfaced earlier this year after the “Lemonade” hitmaker showed off her curvy body in promotional shots for her Adidas x IVY PARK collaboration on Instagram.

After posting the photos, people began to accuse Bey of getting a Brazilian Butt Lift, commenting things like, “I know a BBL bum when I see it,” and “Not one person on this planet can convince me Beyoncé didn’t have surgery.”

Though Beyoncé isn’t one to publically address rumors, she seemingly slammed claims that she underwent plastic surgery in the remix of Megan Thee Stallion’s song, “Savage.”

In the track, Beyoncé raps, “Big B and that B stand for bands / If you wanna see some real a**, baby, here’s your chance.” She continued, “Texas up in this thang, put you up on this game / Ivy Park on my frame … / If you don’t jump to put jeans on, baby, you don’t feel my pain.”

After the song’s release, fans assumed that the verse was Bey’s way of shutting down the persistent plastic surgery rumors, but she’s yet to confirm anything.

Has Beyoncé had plastic surgery?

While many people are still convinced Beyoncé’s had work done to her body, it seems to us that her visibly fuller features are just a result of her last pregnancy.

During that time, Bey struggled with toxemia and preeclampsia, which left her swollen and “on bed rest for over a month.”

Though she ended up giving birth to two healthy babies, the pregnancy caused Beyoncé to develop a curvier physique, which she’s learned to love.

“During my recovery, I gave myself self-love and self-care, and I embraced being curvier. I accepted what my body wanted to be,” she told Vogue in 2018. “After six months, I started preparing for Coachella. I became vegan temporarily, gave up coffee, alcohol, and all fruit drinks. But I was patient with myself and enjoyed my fuller curves.”

Take that, critics!
