Trying to find out which celebrities have gone under the knife to alter their appearance — or simply fight the realities of aging — has long been a favorite pastime for fans and critics alike.

Celebrities like the Kardashians have famously flouted figures that seem undeniably altered while denying they’ve had any work done. Some fans take offense to these denials, claiming that it leaves onlookers with unrealistic body expectations that are rooted in an illusion rather than reality.

Kristin Cavallari is one of the latest celebrities to get extra scrutiny over her looks. Fans think that she’s had alterations done. Is she owning up to it?

Kristin Cavallari has had a long and storied experience with reality TV. Back in 2004, she appeared on Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County. The MTV show followed the real lives of Orange County high school students, providing plenty of drama-filled moments between the young stars over its three-season run.

That appearance helped secure Cavallari plenty of appearances including several host roles on various award shows and guests spots on talk shows.

Once the series came to an end, Cavallari had some attempts at a more traditional acting career, including brief guest appearances on shows like Veronica Mars and CSI: NY, but she really found her footing in continuing reality TV work.

She became a cast member on the Laguna Beach spinoff The Hills. More recently, Cavallari starred in her own reality TV series titled Very Cavallari. The series followed Cavallari through her day-to-day life as a businesswoman launching a new store for her lifestyle product line. It also provided insight into her marriage with former football star Jay Cutler.

The series premiered in 2018 and ended in 2020 after three seasons.

Marriage woes plagued Kristin Cavallari’s headlines

While Very Cavallari was supposed to be a platform for Cavallari to launch her own brand and showcase her business acumen, marriage trouble distracted from that goal. Cutler and Cavallari moved to Nashville after Cutler’s retirement from the NFL in 2017.

The pair also have three children, and Very Cavallari sometimes felt intrusive to the couple’s life at home. In fact, Cavallari remarked that Cutler would likely be “very happy” when the show came to an end.

Whether it was the pressure of being in the spotlight or something else, their marriage took an unfortunate turn. In April 2020, the couple announced their impending divorce.

Meanwhile, Cavallari has made it clear that she has goals beyond reality TV, and it remains to be seen just how the star may or may not pivot from that comfort zone now that Very Cavallari is over.

Cavallari has basically spent her entire adulthood in the public eye. She became a star as a teenager, and fans have gotten to watch her grow up, become a mom, and age. They’ve often turned scrutiny toward Cavallari’s appearance, and many believe that she has had work done to keep her youthful good looks.

As MSN reports, fans are particularly convinced that the star has gotten Botox, lip fillers, and under-eye fillers. Side-by-side photos of Cavallari’s earlier days with her more recent pics circulated social media as critics made these accusations.

Cavallari is having none of it, however. “I’ve actually never touched my face, but thanks for the compliment I guess,” Cavallari snapped. She added, “Maybe get your facts straight before you start making claims like that. I’m proud to be injectable free.”
