Here’s Why Scott Disick Is the Real Star of ‘Keeping Up with the Kardashians’
After 17 seasons of Keeping Up with the Kardashians, we’ve come to the conclusion that Scott Disick is our favorite member of the Kardashian Jenner clan.
Though millions of people stan for all things Kim, Kourtney, and Khloé Kardashian as well as Kris, Kendall, and Kylie Jenner, Disick brings a little something special to KUWTK, which is why many of us have grown to love him.
Although he’s had to overcome a few rough patches to get where he is today, the Lord is—without a doubt—the best thing about the hit E! series and is arguably the real star of the show.
Disick has gone from excessive partier to the Kardashians’ closest confidante
In 2007, viewers tuned in to watch the very first episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians. It was then we were introduced to the interesting yet hilarious Kardashian-Jenner bunch, who are now the biggest reality stars in the world.
Besides this quirky family, fans were also introduced to Disick, Kourtney Kardashian then-beau, who quickly went from supporting character to one of the show’s main stars in a matter of just a few seasons.
Though most of the earlier episodes just focused on Disick and Kardashian’s blossoming relationship, the series soon started to dive more into the New York native’s personal life.
Over the years, many of us have watched Disick go through a lot. From having to grieve the death of both of his parents to his ongoing battle with alcohol addiction, the Lord’s definitely experienced a few rough patches in his life. Some of which caused him to have a strained relationship with a few members of the Kardashian family.
With his tumultuous relationship with Kourt on full display as well as his excessive partying, most of the KarJenners weren’t the biggest fans of Disick in the beginning.
However, after seeing how much he wanted to be a good partner and father, the Kardashians started coming around and have since established a pretty solid bond with Disick.
From having deep talks with the Kardashian matriarch to hilariously trolling fans on social media with KoKo, the reality star has a special relationship with each member of the Kardashian clan.
Instead of just being looked at as Kourt’s ex-boyfriend, Disick is considered a member of the family and is—undoubtedly— the best thing that’s ever happened to this famous bunch.
Just being unapologetically himself is what the KarJenners and fans love the most about Disick and we’re pretty sure Keeping Up with the Kardashians wouldn’t be the same if he wasn’t around.
He brings a much-needed comedic relief to the show
Although the Kardashian-Jenners keep viewers extremely entertained with their crazy antics and unique lifestyles, Disick always seems to add a little something special to each episode he’s in.
While many of us can’t help but acknowledge how amazing his one-liners are, Disick’s comedic moments are what make this show as enjoyable as it is.
The reality star is a pro at giving viewers a good laugh with his hilarious comments, ridiculous pranks, and even his knee-slapping dad jokes that we feel get better every year.
While he’s given us some pretty epic moments over the years, Disick has also been the one to call the Kardashians out whenever he sees fit.
From taking a jab at Kylie Jenner’s overdrawn lips to mocking the Kardashian sisters for being divas, Disick’s brutal honesty is what fans love the most about him.
So as you can see, this E! series wouldn’t be as funny and unique if it wasn’t for Disick.
Not many people can go through constant hardships and still find reasons to have fun at the end of the day, but Disick did, which ultimately proves why he’s the real star of Keeping Up with the Kardashians.
