The couple exchanged their vows on July 4, 1999, at Luttrellstown Castle in Ireland. The ceremony was a small affair with only 29 guests in attendance. David Beckham’s teammate Gary Neville served as the best man and the couple’s four-month-old son, Brooklyn, was the ring bearer.
Today, Posh and Becks, as they were once known, are one of the classiest couples in Hollywood. Victoria is a high-profile fashion designer and David is the president of Inter Miami CF and co-owner of Salford City Football Club. The couple has four children, Brooklyn, 19, Romeo, 16, Cruz 14, and Harper, 7.
Their first meeting was love at first sight

In 2016, Victoria penned a letter to herself in which she detailed the way she met her future husband. She wrote, “It will happen to you in the Manchester United players’ lounge—although you will get a little drunk, so exact details are hazy,” continuing, “While the other football players stand at the bar drinking with their mates, you will see David standing aside with his family. (He’s not even in the first team at this stage—you are the famous one).”
The fashion icon continued to remark about David’s “cute smile” and noted how similar he felt to her. Finally, she wrote, “He’s going to ask for your number. (He still has the London-to-Manchester plane ticket on which you wrote it).” But perhaps the way she began the letter was the sweetest comment of them all. The former Spice Girl wrote, “And yes, love, at first sight does exist.”
The Spice Girls just revealed some exciting news
Although Victoria has created a successful fashion career and officially left the Spice Girls over a decade ago, many fans still see her as Posh Spice. But over the past several years, Victoria has missed quite a few Spice Girl reunions, including a recent reunion tour.
Given her recent absences, fans were surprised and excited to learn that Victoria would be participating in an upcoming Spice Girls movie. According to the Hollywood Reporter, the movie will be an animated film produced by Paramount Animation. The news outlet reports that all five girls will have a substantial part in the movie. A release date has not been set yet, but the movie will mark the group’s second full-length movie.
The Spice Girls released their first movie Spice World in 1997. It would mark one of the last projects that the group did together before Geri Halliwell left the group in 1998. Since the group went their separate ways, they have done a few limited performances over the past few decades. What this new movie means for the group moving forward remains to be seen.
