It’s official: Kylie Jenner is 23 years old.
This year, the makeup mogul kicked off the birthday shenanigans early. In the lead-up to her big day, she had an intimate outing with her some of her best friends. But it looks like the best is yet to come.
On the day of her birthday on Aug. 10, Jenner and some of her family members were seen boarding her multimillion-dollar jet and taking off to an unknown location. While Jenner has not offered up any details on the apparent trip, a little information has started to emerge. Here’s what we’ve gathered about her birthday plans so far.
How Kylie Jenner kicked off her birthday
Jenner’s birthday celebrations began during the week of Aug. 2, when she went to dinner with her “besties,” including her friend Harry Hudson. She sported a white bralette with an oversized leather jacket as she recorded moments from the outing on her phone.
“Last night my besties took me to a last-minute early bday dinner,” she captioned a clip shared on her Instagram Story showing her with Hudson. In another video, Jenner was seen sitting at a table with friends and blowing out the candles on a birthday cake.
Kylie Jenner continues to celebrate turning 23
When her birthday finally rolled around, The Shade Room obtained and published photos that appear to show Jenner boarding her private jet along with Khloé Kardashian, Tristan Thompson, and their daughter True. A source noted they were also allegedly joined by Travis Scott, Kourtney Kardashian, Scott Disick, and others, though they were not captured in photos.
The aircraft, which The Shade Room says Jenner allegedly purchased for $72 million (though other reports place the cost between $50 million and $70 million), features pink accents and an “N810KJ” imprint on the side that appears to reference Jenner’s birthday.
Though she has not acknowledged the apparent getaway, Jenner took to Instagram as her birthday unfolded and shared a photo of her and her daughter Stormi blowing out the candles on another birthday cake. “the best gift of all 🖤,” she captioned the photo.

For her 22nd birthday, Jenner jetted off to Italy with her friends, family, and her then-boyfriend, Travis Scott.
She shared several photos and videos from the trip on social media, showing them dancing, exchanging gifts, posing for pictures, doing water sports, and sitting down for a special birthday dinner. In one particular post shared on her Instagram page, Jenner called it “the most beautiful trip of [her] life.”
